No, its only been 5 in a row (the 6th was a split squad game) and 4 of them were on the road with 3 of those against tough opponents. The one home game was a tough opponent as well in the Mets.

Hey AJ. Thanks for the tip on the probables for the Angels. Got in at -129. Now up to -149. Way to spot value before it shot up! BOL today.

I took the Angels yesterday (first post in this thread) and I dont know anything about the Braves game besides Ohlendorf vs Vazquez. I lean Braves there.

This is an arbitrage scenario. I don't know why you wouldn't want to make money (all be it not a lot of it depending how much you bet) with NO RISK. No need for the negativity . Just trying to show the power of getting your bets in early and being able to scrape small profits with no risk in the end.

Let's assume you got the Angels yesterday at -130, and now you're getting the Pads at +140.

Bet 1: $130 on the Angels to win $100
Bet 2: $100 on the Padres to win $140

Pads win: Your profit is $10
Angels win: You break even.

I understand that it's no risk, possible reward. But why gamble in the first place then?

Just my two cents.

Solid. Not surprised that some folks couldn't be bothered though... to the hundred dollar bettor (for instance!) it wouldn't seem like much fun but to a dime player, you put together a few of those a night and you are on your way to a thousand dollar a week or more enterprise  major diff is finding good candidates and avoiding lines that move against you.  GL

Scratch that...it's POSSIBLE risk, possible reward. As happycap pointed out, the risk is lines moving against you. So you have a CHANCE to win $10 per $200 bet as long as the line doesn't move.

Should read...as long as the line doesn't move in the wrong direction.
