Phillies obviously have more heart then the yankees and it shows they have the confidence to take on the highest salery team in MLB without any fear. Angels pitching around A-Rod  not the Phillies 3 strikeouts how about those apples AROID!

No sorry its not only game 1. Yankees lose. Whoever won game 1 to set the tone of this WS was going to be the winner. Sorry maybe when you guys spend a little more money you can succesfully buy a championship.

1 game? And since when is Philly David? Last season was "David v Golliath"...this isn't.

 

Yes...1 of the best pitchers in baseball made A-Rod look like a fool...the Phillies won 1 game...they have to win 3 more. Get over yourself...it's not even close to over yet.

I'm trying to find 3 more Phillies wins looking over the match ups and I just don't see it. I am just waiting for when McCarver says

"and the ghosts over Yankee stadium come out again" 

rest assured that the ghosts will come out to play

You are an idiot.  Quit gambling while you can, or just jump off a bridge.  You cant see 3 more games the Phils can win?  You do realize the Phils have absolutely BLOWN THROUGH the playoffs for 2 straight postseasons?  You do realize they've won 11 of their last 12 playoff home games?  You sound like a desperate man who is scared that his Yanks series bet is in danger, which it is.  Cliff Lee will probably pitch 2 more games and you cant see how the Phils can win 3 more?  You do realize AJ Burnett is about as reliable as a 5yr old is to take out the trash and walk the dog?  You do realize Chad Gaudin will likely get a start at some point in this series?  You really believe Girardi is going to start both Burnett and Pettitte on short rest?  If he does, he's asking for it.  If he doesnt, he's asking for it.

this is a sad post, bottom line yankees lost to the phillies best pitcher, after lee they will throw pedro then hammels, ill take aj over pedro at this point in their careers and hammels is facing pettite, hammels may have been named mvp last year but andy's been pitching, and winning these types of games since hammels was still sucking on his moms tits

i cant wait to see how bad pedro is going to get hammered tomorrow and how hamels will serve a home run derby for yanks lineup in game 3

i love how all these yankee fans believe that there just gonna hit pedro around....look whos pitchin for yanks. aj was hit hard last time he faced phils n wasnt so sharp last app....phils lineup is far superior then minnesota n angels(who made so many base running mistakes)...remember yank fans when there playin in philly matsui wont b batting n swisher will have to help out a lil unless u want 2outs in the lineup every atbat w the pitcher...all the pressure is on yanks tom. MUST WIN bc dont expect to take 2 out of 3 in philly....phils in 6 maybe even 5

Game 2 I really don't know what to expect. Burnett gives up too many walk and I don't know which Pedro will show up. Taking Over 9 , and cheering for the Philly..
