or we can lose a Under bet before the first inning is over.
or can be happy as fuck or pissed as fuck if the game dont go 8.5 innings

My favorite aspect of betting on baseball are the multitude of
commercials I get to look at. Every half inning, every pitcher
change. I am so looking foward to BB season, just think I will
probably see a million commercials. They also last so long, there
must me five minutes of commercials every half inning. No
wonder games last so long.

For me bases has to be the most difficult of all sports to make money on. I've tried and failed more times than I can count. I wish I could find an edge because I love bases. I stick to totals I'd I do bet but even those are hard to predict.

You can make money on MLB year in, year out, but with everything, you need to be selective, manage your bankroll, don't chase your losses, and don't get caught up in "systems", unless they've been back tested decades. If it's too good to be true, it is. There's no free money in sports betting. Another thing that"s worked well for me is, don't expect bad teams to do good things for you. I'm a fave bettor in MLB and NHL and I do just fine the last 3 yrs.
I agree with a user in this thread, for me, the best part that I love about MLB is just win or lose straight up. No fucking spread to get you backdoored on. Same reason I love betting on NHL. I'm utter shit with all sports totals and spreads in NBA, NCAA b-ball and football, so I stick with what I know.
That said, Dodgers should rake this year, non?

Agreed about just needing to win straight up but that brings other problems, namely high juice if you bet faves. Nothing like taking a -150+ fave only to see there bullpens to blow a lead late and lose. And RL's are tricky
I think you have to look at streaks. Who's hot and who's not. Identify the worst teams and the best teams and look at streaks. It's not uncommon to see bad teams like the White Sox go on extended losing streaks.
One thing I may do this year and I had some success late in the season last year is look at NRFI. When Skubal was pitching I think NRFI came in alot I remember I took in a profit just taking NRFI when he was pitching. Of course you have juice to contend when you have two aces going against each other but I find NRFI can be relatively safe at spots.
And the best thing about NRFI? It's over quick, if you win your done right away no need to sweat out the full game

Baseball is simply the best. My favorite sport to bet. Why - I'm a numbers guy and there's numerous different angles you can come up with an apply to first 5 and game bets. Winning money is great, however, part of it's the analyzation you do and the win becomes very gratifying from an ego stand point as well as financially.
There are patterns where the worst pitcher on paper has a negative rating but are favored like 145 or higher and history has shown they win it on the run line repeatedly. Or a pitcher on paper looks like the worst ever but for the First 5 innings - they somehow pitch like an Allstar and get the under first 5.
It's simply Beautiful :) Have a great season all
