Why shouldn't I put my life savings on the Red Sox/Sale tonight?

Seriously, give me one good reason? They can't set the line high enough when Sale pitches. Not only is he lights out, but the offense seems to play better with him on the mound.

Rangers are a basement team that have shown zero signs of life this series. I don't understand how they can even set lines on games like this.

Because its baseball and anything can happen on any given day & Sale is capable of having a bad day no matter how great he's been pitching. Bol however you play it.

Everything points to an easy win by Boston in this game, but typically it is never easy.

If I were going to take this game, I would take Boston in the First 5 Innings, not the Full Game.  As another Poster said, it can be difficult to Sweep a team and Sale will most likely not pitch the full-game, so take Sale to win the game in 5 innings.  I would even lay a 1/2 run to bring the odds down to -220.

The Red Sox are 11-8 this year in Sale's starts for an ROI of -12%.The numbers are in front of you, this is not a good investment based on just this season alone. If you look since he became a Red Sox, the team is 33-19 in his starts for a -1.9% ROI. 

If you decide to bet on the Red Sox due to their offense clicking on all cylinders right now, that is fine but bet the same as you would any other pick which you consider to have value. That is the best advise you'll get.

historically offense tends to not score runs for Sale when he pitches. he used to be a victim of Sherzer syndome. bit different this season with Boston bats, that said, running Boston this year is almost always profit.

Sale got 12ks 1 ER 6 IP Last time he faced the rangers in Texas. BEAUTIFUL day in Boston today. Ignore these fools he will do the same  Tonight

Uh Rangers showed some life yesterday. But they havent hit particularly well against him in the past...

Minny is a better big fav bet, better odds, better situation. They should come out swinging against a bad team that beat them last night.

Boston over 62 PAs batting .210 against Colon, and Colon can be magical at times. I never bet against the Fatman.

Think about it--you're laying almost 4 to 1 on a team batting .210 against the opposing pitcher. Sale and the Sox are the most inflated line of the season.

Fave's -300 or greater are 9-0 last 9 games.  Its due for a loss However there is a reason Redsox are -380 tonight.  Just can't see the Rangers scoring enough runs on Sale to win.

He's exaggerating...It was never 4-0 with 2 outs and 2 strikes....reds cut the lead to 4-3 well before 2 outs in the 9th

Was that game @ Boston?  I believe it was @ Philly vs Nick Pevitta and Boston lost.  Huge difference between road and home game

Holy crap, I can't believe you said this. I hope you were referring to Majors only and even then it's silly. I have seen more shite happen in tennis and yes first rounds then you can imagine. Bottom line don't bet your life savings on anything! 

Yes Boston should win between they way they are on the bat and Sale pitching. With that said Texas has a scrappy lineup Grandpop Colon still is capable of going out and pitching a gem for 6 innings. That is why they play the game as many have said before me.

Everytime I get a stupid thought like this I think about my Big Blue playing at home against Appy St in football. ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN!
