If it were to go seven and that is a huge huge IF Verlander may even pitch 1,4,7.   Find it  hard to believe when Detroit grabs the first two in S.F. with Verlander and Fister how it is ever going to go seven.

i really believe that once the playoffs hit, its all about momentum, lucky breaks, and heart. 

everyone here made it this far for a reason. theyre good teams. 

if verlander/scherzer/fister/sanchez were so fucking good, why is their regular season record the shittiest out of the play off teams?

and please, sweeping the yanks, thats really nothing. det backers know that was a AAA team on the other side.

Not to mention how everyone counted em out against the "Big 3" in the Phillies rotation and we know how that ended. 

I will be interested to see how they fare against Verlander, as hes obviously amazing.  However, the Giants seem to thrive in these situations....situations in which people count them out from the get go.  

Coming back and winning 3 straight elimination games....2 series in a row mind you....is something rather special

I don't really see the Tigers lay off being an issue. Look at how many games the Giants were in must win situations. I know it is the World Series, etc....but they have to be somewhat drained. The Tigers have won Game 1 in both series...and the Giants have lost Game 1 in both series as well.

There will be two sweeps, one from the S.F. janitors cleaning up the peanuts from the first two games (because they won't have a job after that) and THE BIG SWEEP from DETROIT pitching. And to Fixedgame I'm sure that Zito popped his own pimples, not Verlander. Thats why they call him ZIT-O. Go Tigers

in 111 Lifetime ABs against Zito, the tigers have hit 2 Homeruns.  One by Peralta and one by Fielder.
