Now that you mention it, i think youre right...

if im not mistaken there hasnt been one 165+ favorite that has lost this season

Verlander has shifted gears...Posey and Pence are ice cold...Scutaro and Panda are hot,but by themselves not sure they can beat JV...And Tigers have seen'' Baked Ziti'' when he pitched 4 Oakland...

FWIW, i wouldnt necessarily call it "struggling" but Verlander on the road this year is 8-6, 3.57 ERA, with opponents hitting .257 off him.

May not hold much statistical weight, but it definitely shows he can be beat....in my opinion

you fail to realize that if the tiger also don't score and this goes into extras i'd say the advantage goes to the giants.

also forgot to mention the tigers are not exactly the best fielding team in the playoffs. even if JV throws a perfect pitch unless his fielders complete the play for an out it won't matter how well he pitches, unless he K's 27 batters
