Well Posada being out is pretty big. He hits Kaz well. I know A-Rod is out because of Girardi's rules, he likes to give A-Rod the day off before another day off because he wants him to get all the rest he can get. Damon is big too...Hairston batting 2nd? I don't know about that. Their lineup is pretty poor. Duncan isn't a strong outfielder is he? Molina will hold down the run game but the Angels, if the lineup is right, should take this one. You know I rarely bet against the Yanks...it's just all about the money right now.

Well A-Rod is sitting because of the hip. Girardi trys to get him at least 1 game off a week. Posada is out because of the day after night game situation. Damon facing a lefty would probably hurt them either way as opposed to Gardner, and Swisher I see where your coming from. No reason to sit him. He does play a whole lot though. But obviously Girardi is not making this out to be the game of all games. The game against the Sox are more important this weekend because a Red Sox sweep changes things more.
Matsui is a solid DH...he's been the DH all season...laughing? Not so sure. Cano bats 6th or 7th every game. They don't want to move him. He's been hitting well all season(not in big spots though) so why change a good thing? There has been some talks about him being a 2 hitter some day, but for now, he's fine where he is.
