What you said was that you do not fear Sabathia, Burnett and A-Rod and that you have no concerns with the Yankees. Then you asked me "Could you say the same?". I took that to the heart and here I am.

A-Rod has been clutch so far. Jeter is always clutch. Mo is always clutch. Sabathia has been clutch. Pettitte is clutch in the postseason. Thats more than the Phillies have. The Yankees have better pitching than the Yankees. The defense is shaky at points but Melky and the infield is solid. They did break the consecutive game errorless streak earlier in the season. I don't know how you can have Phillies in 7 bringing up those points.

Sparky, you have repeated the samething for ever.Lets let the games be played and see what your stats say at the end of the series because at this point it means nada.

Why is it always about how "tough" fans are? Why is it always brought up that "We'd kick your ass if you come anywhere near here."? This may sound cliché but that's what's wrong with our society today. So much bullshit about whose tougher. Is it "cool" to kick people's asses? I mean...in this situation, say there were a few Yankee fans at Citizens Bank Park and the Yankees win. What would happen after the game while they're walking to their car with Yankee jerseys on? About 10 people would come up to the 2 and kick their ass? Doesn't seem so tough to me.

I had repeated it more than you can imagine. But I'm just saying stats don't prove clutch and the Yankees have some clutch players. I'm not saying Howard isn't clutch.

Most times those situations are caused by mouthing off and alcohol involved.Usually the home team crowd feels provoked I suppose but having been involved in loud discussions but not any violence I really can't say.

Oh...no doubt that booze is the main reason. And it's a shame. I don't lie...I would be nervous to wear a Yankee jersey if I went to one of these WS games in Philly. I probably wouldn't do it. I wouldn't even go to a game in Philly unless I got free tickets. I wouldn't mind going to a Royals game wearing a Yankee jersey. Or a Pirates game. Or any of those type of games because in all honesty, more people are there supporting the Yanks anyway. It's just a shame that people must resort to these kind of things.

Well I have been to MSG witha Flyers jersey and seen no problems and to Shea witha Phillies jersey and all was cool but I don't think I would come to say the Vet or Citizenws Bank with other teams jerseys because there are frequent problems.

    There WERE cheaters.

And since 2001, the Yankees haven't won. The Mets haven't won. The Mariners haven't won. And the Cubs haven't won. So it proves that money doesn't "buy championships". And that money has worked out very well(finally). I no longer care about people talking about money...it doesn't bother me as long as they get the job done and deserve the money they are being paid.

I actually can't wait for the offseason. It's been proven that the Yankees don't have a deep rotation so they may be getting some work. And Matt Holliday said he really wants to be a Yankees.  I'm also curious next season to see what Hughes and Joba bring to the table in the rotation. But lets work on what we have to tonight then Wednesday.

Well Howard, soon enough, will cost a fortune. Same with Utley. Which would be the same as Posada and Jeter. The Yankees have more players on their roster that are from their farm system than the others. Maybe they don't have as many play makers there but their bullpen is all from their system. Even Marte was brought up in their system even though he was traded off. All but Gaudin were drafted by the Yankees. Then of course Gardner, Cano, Melky, Jeter, Pettitte and Posada grew up in the Yankees' system. But basically everything else was covered in post #96.
