NJDevils must be busy with Foots and Pucks so I started this  months thread...

Event Horizon (1997) decent outer space psyco horror film with Laurence Fishburne and Sam Neill. kind of a Pandorum (2009) style film without "mutants" running wild on the ship. kind of drags in spots but OK for those that like the genre. pretty good CGI for the mid 1990's.

Hall Pass- Decent comedy for a Wednesday night flick.  Had it's moments but I only recommend if there's nothing else on.

Cry of the Owl...the lead character has the worst luck, bitch for a wife, gutless boss, cops that don't believe him & a fitting ending to the movie.

Star Trek (2009)- Never seen the show or was ever interested in any kind of sci-fi shows/movies but I thought this movie was really good.

A Better Life

A sob story about a hardworking Mexican father being deported leaving behind a teenage son.  Life in LA.  A really ordinary movie.

I've never been a big Woody Allen fan, but 'Midnight in Paris' didn't suck.

Like most Baseball peeps following front office stuff, I'm a huge Billy Beane fan, so I'll certainly have to check out that Moneyball flick.

'Page One:Inside the NY Times'...It was a pretty good documentary. I expected more raw info/numbers but it kinda ended up being a movie about David carr.

Pretty decent film, beeing 35 years old, the movie brought my childhood back and a nice tribute to a few movies made in the '80s (Goonies, E.T., Close encounters of the third kind, etc.)....

The King's Speech (2010). watched on Showtime last night and was as good as the hype IF your into pure English historical drama and acting. had more of a stage play than movie feel to it.

only criticism I can come up with is that Timothy Spall who played Winston Churchill didn't look or sound anything like the man. would have been better off casting Ian McNeice who played Churchill in some Doctor Who episodes.
