Invictus-  Good flick.  The story of Nelson Mandela and his attempt to use the Rugby World Cup to unite his country. Takes a little while to get going, but ends strong.  I did some research after watching and apparently it was very close to being historically correct.

Drag Me To Hell-  Pretty decent.  I'm a fan of Sam Raimi and pretty much everything he directed(Evil Dead 1-2, Army of Darkness, Darkman, Spider-Man 1-3, A Simple Plan), so I was pretty hyped for this.  After a pointless first scene, it settled into a cool horror movie.  Not exactly scary, but a few scenes made me jump along with some good sight gags.  The main character(Allison Lohman) makes me want to puke looking at her cheesey ass, but she won me over by the end.  Justin Long also makes me sick and I was distracted for a good 20 minutes trying to figure how and why that ratty little fuck actually gets movie and commercial roles.  All in all, an enjoyable movie.

Zack and Miri Make a Porno-  Not Kevin Smith's best, but still funny.  Like a lot of comedies, it started off really good, built up some good characters and plot, but the ending was a rushed jumbled mess.  Like Drag Me To Hell, the main character(Elizabeth Banks) grew on me by the end.  She turned out to be a lot hotter than I thought coming in.  I do have one problem with her though and I blame Kevin Smith as much as her in this regard.  Here you have this extremely raunchy and dirty comedy whose story revolves around making a porno.  Tits are everywhere(including porn star Katie Morgan in a small role), and yet when it is time for Banks to fuck, she is wearing clothes.  Not even like they tried the  "girl is wearing a bra" sex scene, or some sly camera tricks to avoid the star showing T&A.  This corny bitch was wearing about 15 layers of clothing for her scene.  Take it off or stick to Disney movies, you prude! Yet again, I run into the dreaded Justin Long, but for the first time in history, the man played a funny part.

Jackass: The Lost Tapes-  Good stuff.  The Jackass crew are awesome.  This is a compilation of old stuff they put together into a movie.  Some of the skits you may recognize from old episodes, but may be expanded or unedited.  Also some stuff that either didn't make the cut and/or was too raunchy for MTV.  Not really their strongest material as a lot of it was left off the show for a reason, but still amusing.

Back to work tomorrow.    My movie watching will be cut down dramatically, and back to the one a month pace I've had since my life ended in 2005 when I got the fucking job. 

Before the Devil Knows You're Dead

Great flick.  Ethan Hawke was awesome.  Gay ass Philip Seymour Hoffman was awesome.  Marisa Tomei has helped solidify the spot she took from Diane Lane as the hot ass older bitch that gets paid to be naked and get fucked on camera.

No Country For Old Men

This was seriously one badass movie.  First watch, I didn't pick up on a few small details and I thought the end was muddled and didn't make sense.  I thought the first three quarters of it was brilliant, but I just didn't get a couple of things that happened towards the end.  Watching it again and also reading some spoilers from the book cleared up the questions I had.  Very very smart flick.  Awesome from top to bottom!

What a cool vampire flick.  It's a foreign film(Swedish I think), so the dubs aren't exactly the greatest, but it doesn't really matter.  Best vampire movie since the Lost Boys!
