Messier, I finally saw Phoenix.
Ray Liotta plays a good degenerate, and no one can tell me that Liotta doesn't have actual in depth experience with doing a considerable amount of coke and know a lot about other aspects of the degenerate life..Like his movies though a lot....It took 7 days to download. (computer would take breaks when I'd shut the lid, but damn! Usually a flick takes 30-60 minutes tops. A season of 24 took 5 days once....)
Yuice, I'm not a big "mystery guy" but Shutter Island was really good I thought. Ewan McGregor has to start getting credit for his work. "Trainspotting" to being in the best two Star Wars chapters as Obi Wan (#2 n #3).....to Shutter Island.
Valkyrie sucked. Tom Cruise needs a flick in which he's not the only "name" guy in the flick.
Kinda like Pippen was a damn good player as long as he had someone good around him (Jordan, but I guess he made everyone better, so analogy doesn't work that well.
Rocky Balboa just was so horrible. I thought Stallone was going to ask the conder that beat him where would be a great place for the two of them to spoon afterwards. Did anyone other than me think the fighter opposite Rocky in that flick , kinda looked like Mark Breland? Breland hasn't fought in forever. Stallone also showed off his gross 61 year old veins that made me think roids over a 4-6 month period to make his body look believable......
3:10 To Yuma..........Well done, and great remake. I'me getting into the habit of looking for the originals, but realize it's always apples and oranges these days.....(I saw it a long time ago, but never talked about it......Getting a copy now.
Spartacus............adding this, since it's playing out like a movie. They aren't pulling punches at all with this series......
Next...........Is it me or is he really getting odd looking these days. I liked this flick
Bad Lieutenant.......Nick Cage again, as I posted before, for whatever reason, having flicks with New Orleans as the set, always helps a movie out, but Cage was weird again, and why anyone thought that remaking that Keitel cult classic would work out was high.......movie channel, but only if nothing else is on. I'd watch a rerun of Two And A Half Men before that movie.......
