Even Money (2006)

was on one of the movie channels the other night and sounded like it might be an interesting story about problem gambling esp sports betting with an illegal bookie. also had a lineup of actors that usually produce pretty good films

BUT it turned out to be a complete BUST. was more depressing than interesting and ex for the part with Kim Basinger as the addicted slot player, I thought it was a half assed ripoff of the 1974 Jimmy Caan movie The Gambler.

Body of Lies -Crowe DiCaprio ... good movie, CIA, terrorists solid suspense movie

One of the worst movies I have ever seen. 2 1/2 hours of a dad and his son trying to find food

The Polar Express

Fucking blows.  I normally love most of the Pixar and other cartoon movies, but this one was lame as hell

Terminator Salvation

They probably could have filmed an hour and a half of someone eating grilled cheese sandwiches, put "Terminator" in the title, and I'd have loved it.  I don't know why, but I can't get enough of that storyline.

Von Richthofen and Brown (1971)

recorded it on MAX the other night. as an aviation history buff I found it to be a very interesting movie with some of the best WWI air combat scenes I have ever seen. like any film drama about historic events it has some bullshit in it BUT overall I would recommend it to history an/or aviation story fans.

Sherlock Holmes....definitely worth seeing...RD Jr great as always

2012....kinda stupid but "entertaining".....awesome special effects
most will enjoy....really serious moviegoers probably won't like it

I've seen a number of the movies mentioned here for the first time in the last couple months.....and most of them fucking blow.

Paul Blart: Devils is completely right. Not funny at all. Maybe it's just that Kevin James isn't funny.

The Day the Earth Stood Still: However, showing no emotion is what Keanu does best

Body of Lies: watched about half of it and was actually kind of bored. Very so-so in my book.

Role Models: I know it isn't near as new as the others, but I'd never seen it and caught it coming on the other day. Absolutely fucking hilarious. Looking of it to come on again so I can DVR it.

About to watch Revolutionary Road which is coming on HBO in a few minutes. I've heard good things.

Surrogates: Interesting premise, not so great execution. Watchable, but nothing to write home about.

The Hurt Locker: One of the best movies of the year.

If you've ever seen King of Queens you will know that Kevin James is most definitely funny. He's pretty damn hysterical actually. It just really didnt matter who they threw in that Paul Blart role, I dont think there's an actor out there that could have made that movie funny
