I guess it will be cold and snowy soon so there will be alot of movie wathcing

Harold n Kumar Xmas - it was pretty funny...i thought it might have been better but it was still good

watched The Grapes of Wrath (1940) last night. STILL one of the GREAT films of the 20th Century and VERY timely with todays economy.

Too much sports on in October... Bases.Football n Hockey. Didnt have time for movies. I may see the Harold n Kumar tomorrow

yah no doubt and not to mention hasn't been many good movies out lately

I did not see the movie In Time but my friend said its really good and amanda seyfreid is hot as fuck

Saw Horrible Bosses.  I know people here liked it, but I thought it was below average.  Had some funny stuff and Aniston acting slutty was the best part of it.  Any comedy you have no interest in watching again is always a sign that it wasn't that good.

watched A Fine Madness (1966), which I hadn't seen in years, on TCM the other night. really funny early Sean Connery comedy.

worth recording if it's on TCM in the future

Just watched Citizen X which was about a Russian serial killer. The movie was made in 1995 & has Steven Rea, Donald Sutherland & Max von Syndow.

Good flick & good story about a real wackadoo...

There Will Be Blood.....Daniel Day Lewis is unbelievable in this role as the oil tycoon.

I learned that it takes Lewis 5 to 6 months to get out of character after he finishes a film and that is why he does a film every 2 or 3 years. It took him 2 years to get his character down pat in this film. His voice and mannerisms were incredible and worthy of an Oscar.

The Thing

Not as good as 1982's version but it was ok.  Alot of CGI stuff now. 

The 1982 version scared the hell out of me.

one of the best acted crime dramas I have EVER seen. was it on a TV movie channel because I lost it off my DVR and want to re-record?

the beauty of the story is you KNOW who the mass murderer Andrei Chikatilo is BUT the question is HOW will forensic specialist Viktor Burakov nab the bastard having to work against Soviet bureaucratic political interference? WELL acted by all involved esp Jeffrey DeMunn as Andrei Chikatilo

It was on Cinemax.....

Jeffrey Demunn played such a creepy role and didn't have to say much to convey it. His stare made my skin crawl.

The Soviet bureacracy was unreal and makes you wonder  how anything got done in the country. Even the ending was a shocker for me.....

Citizen X repeats on their "ActionMAX" Standard Def and HD channels Saturday Nov 26th @ 4:30 am eastern time, 1:30 am pacific. definately worth recording IF your a crime drama fan.
