watched the "French Connection" style crime-action drama The Seven-Ups (1974), which I had recently recorded on Fox Movies, last night. has one of the all time GREAT car chase scenes EVER along with Bullitt (1968), the afore mentioned The French Connection (1971) and the recent The Town (2010).
would definately recommend esp IF your a French Connection fan. somewhat similar plots ex instead of busting up a drug smuggling gang, the cops are trying to figure out who the "phony cops" are that have been kidnapping wise guys for ransom.

"In Time" is very good and thought provoking. Timberlake is showing himself to excel in whatever Entertainment field he involves himself in.
I have purchased over 15 Disney Blu Rays lately and have never seen a Disney title with the original animation (un-CGI). Mainly got them for the cool slipcovers but they are awesome.
Winnie the Pooh, Snow White are great.
I also saw Captain America and X Men: First Class. Cap America isn't that good. Kinda in the vein of the original comic and is campy.

I will agree with the the "Rotten Tomatoes" consensus that "Anthony Hopkins is as excellent as ever, but he's no match for The Rite's dawdling pace and lack of chills". somewhat worth watching the last 30-25 minutes with Father Lucas's (Hopkins) demonic possession scene.

just happen to watchThe Beautician and the Beast (1997) with Fran Drescher and Timothy Dalton as the title characters. it was a surprisingly funny, fast paced comedy. lots of almost Grouco vs Chico Marx style banter and sight gags.
kind of a "chick flik" BUT worth watching if you like a light comedy
