New Dexter

I was willing to give them a pass for season 5 just because of how great season 4 was.  I figured it was just an off season and they would get back to being good.

Watching the current season it has become abundantly clear that is not the case.  This is easily the worst season of Dexter yet.  It is simply horrible compared to 1-4.

At this point I’m just watching the show to see how it ends.

It’s a shame.  It used to be so good.

She got her promotion by blackmailing Mathews using a Miami madam’s black book that contained his name.

If he were to go down he would most likely try to take her with him.

The obvious answer would be him.

Deb is now in love with Dexter and fantasizing about him.

I realize its very difficult for great shows to stay great for 5+ seasons, but this is just getting ridiculous.

I was already just watching to see how it ends, but I don’t know if I can sit through another two seasons of this garbage.

As bad as season 5 was, it looks like season 1 compared to this one.

As bad as this season was that last scene was a pretty good hook for next season.

I just hope they don’t have Dexter tell Deb that this was just a one time deal, she believes him, and then everything carries on as usual.

a truly awful season capped with an equally awful finale.........35 miinutes in i actually doublechecked the listings to see if it was in fact the final episode of the season, as absolutely NOTHING had happened...........compared to either season finales, I couldn;t believe my eyes.....

the whole deb in love with dexter thiing is beyond ridiculous.......and i personally found the final scene a cheap cop out....this is something they knew they were going to do all along and decided this was the time....at the end of the worst season in the series......just awful

i am assuming they needed to justify deb not turning dexter in for finally finding out he is a serial killer.......hence the in love bullshit.......still extremely lame....thats the best they could come up with?
