I remember thinking the wife was well cast. And she's not really ugly. She looks like an ugly cops wife/stay at home mom.

The woman who is such a great actress that the only role she could get was on a show her husband created was cast well?

I liked the ending.

Boring cubical job.

His family gone.

All his friends dead or in jail hating him.

He has to live each day in the personal hell he created for himself.

yah i guess so eh...what shane did shocked me usually i'm not shocked while watching a show but i was when he did that

First episode when Dutch had the child kidnapper and were getting nothing from him regarding the location of a victim. Vic comes in the room.

Kidnapper:  Did good cop and bad cop go home?
Vic: Yeah, I'm a different kind of cop. Then he pulls out a knife and phone book. 

I watched every episode of this series and it's absolutely one of the best shows ever.

I forgot to add the seasons with Glen Close & Forest Whittaker took the show to another level, especially Whittaker. He's so good!
