Owning Mahowny (great movie abotu a compulsive gambler starring Philip Seymour hoffman)

Enemy of the gates (Jude law, rachel weisz)

Trainspotting (not a hidden gem anymore but surprisingly  a lot of people still have not seen it)

btw, they have been playing Capote with Philip Seymour Hoffman as Truman Capote on the HD Net Movie channel lately and it's pretty good (Hoffman won the 2005 best actor Oscar) BUT there is another movie about Capote writing "In Cold Blood" called Infamous with Toby Jones as Capote and Daniel Craig as Perry Smith that I think is a MUCH better telling of the story. if Hoffman won an Oscar then Toby Jones shoud have at least been nominated in 2006. I think the cast and the acting in Infamous was actually BETTER than in Capote.

and i'm sitting here doing work and the proposition is on.  so much for doing work right now.  that movie is a modern classic.  if you guys haven't seen this movie, you should...like right now.
