real hip hop started dying after '95....some of the best (Jay-Z, Nas) have fallen off since and nothing new to speak of 

dont get me wrong, there are some talented guys out there, but very few and far between.  not worth the time sifting throught all the garbage to find it imo.....my advice, go back and start finding the old soul albums that guys like premier and dre were using to make their albums, ...

somebody mentioned Jurassic Five....definetly one of the best to come along the last decade....J-Live as well, his b side track "longevity" probably one of the best ever...cant really think of too much else in the last 10 years that has made me stop, think, and truely listen

I used to listen to Cham prior to the mainstream stuff, when he was selling burned copies of his CDs in Houston. They are friggin awesome! Stuff from like 10 years ago. Get your mind correct is a great CD
