Like a lot of those wreckedem.  Man you are the Kiss Army  40 shows!. I never got to see them but, I did meet Gene Simmons at a music convention once. Keep Rocking!

iron maiden,judas  priest,anthrax,megadeth,scorpions,ian gillan,paul dianno,david bowie,d.r.i ,gbh,the accused.
some i have seen in the years there a few more could add but have run
seen maiden about 7 times and priest around 5 times

MWC, That's a great list and how did you find time for other bands with all those Dead shows  I want you to name all the venues. Just kidding, you probably have that in your word doc. and I am sure it spans quite a large area. I Would have loved to have seen The Band. Good stuff

gers, great bands and  Maiden and Priest are great shows to have seen multiple times. Got to see Priest but, never did get a chance to see Maiden. A friend of mine saw them several times also.

Great lists by all.

I am able to add to my list I attended some shows this year some repeats and some I never saw previous.

I attended The Who (3rd time) in January Quadraphenia Tour. I love that record and was so glad I got to see it live.

Black Sabbath (3rd time) in August. They have a new record and it is as good as some of their early work. Ozzy is getting on in years still quite the showman.

Went to an 80's concert in September with Blondie, Adam Ant, Rick Springfield, Psychedelic Furs, Sugarhill Gang The Fixx and Berlin. Out of those I had only seen Berlin before so all the rest were first time shows.

Any new shows for anyone else?

Great lists by all and you can really see generally, what kind of music each of us gravitated to but I was very openminded and here are a few I can't believe others have not seen also: May have been too stoned to remember

 Neil Young @ Farm  Aid... OMG, I have NEVER seen more splifta being passed around @ any concert. Believe it or not it was at the Old Texas Stadium Those farmers really know how to grow

 Bobby and the Midnights(bob weir) "That's right the Women are smarter" Billy Cobham(?.) some great drummer was with him that tour

Simon and Garfunkel..absolutely best acoustical show I ever heard even in a stadium. fantastic songlist that night

 In the L2 months I've seen Roger Waters "The Wall", Stone Temple Pilots (Weiland is back with them), & this last Saturday night saw Joe Satriani.

 Some I've seen not listed here...........Led Zeppelin, Supertramp, Alice Cooper, Queensryche, Toto, Robin Trower, Heart, Nazareth, Thin Lizzy, Gordon Lightfoot...........& Aussie Pink Floyd, which was very good.

No way I can compete with a lot of you guys

 But........in the last year or so I've seen Chickenfoot (excellent), Tragically Hip (also excellent), & Sammy Hagar (40 year tour).

I like the WRECKEDEM listed an Iron Maiden show as "first time I toked" .

That reminds me of my first time that I toked it was hiding in a bush at the end of a cul-de-sac on the street I lived on. One of my friends straight older brother walked by as we were doing this. Lucky he was cool enough not to say anything to anyone.

I have now seen KISS 49 times and about to see numbers 50 and 51 on the KISS Kruise in 2 weeks. 
have also recently seen SIGUR ROS, IRON MAIDEN, MEGADETH, ROGER WATERS, GOGOL BORDELLO, MUDHONEY, FLAMING LIPS, CALIFONE, BLONDIE, X,

yea Jimmag, first time i smoked the dope was at Iron Maiden, Saxon and Fastway.  One week before my 13th birthday. That was back in 83.

Does this include bands I've seen at festivals like Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo?

If so I've seen just about everyone I've ever wanted to see, except The Rolling Stones.

I've seen hundreds. Most are vague memories of the past. Lately, the 2 best I've seen are Incubus and Rise Against. 

Best concert from yesteryear ? Oddly enough, probably Rainbow from the Straight Between the Eyes tour. Incredible musicians. Here's a good live one that opened the show:




 I had the pleasure of watching the Clash at the old Cape Cod Coliseum around the same time period. Jimmy Buffett was always great (saw him many times) and Santana was awesome.

Worst concert from yesteryear?  Easily Foreigner. Vocalist Lou Gramm sounded like he was singing through a distorted bullhorn and the whole band just seemed off key all night. Very bad.

Henry Rollins might be the most energetic guy I've ever seen in concert.  Great concert  I saw back at the 'Wisky in Hollywood.

yes. in fact i had a hibachi dinner with Paul and Gene and their families.   Gene also had a pick throwing competition and Paul judged a belly flop contest.  While access to the band was limited, they were "around".  everyone on the boat got their photos taken with the band and an autographed poster.  a good scene

He will do anything to earn a dollar.  It's embarrassing, no?

He was actually quite pleasant. I learned that he does not like guacamole. He also bought the meals for the Australian couple sitting between us. 
As a long time fan, it is a bit embarrassing. He is such a shill. However, he does do a lot of good outside the band. He is very involved with Wounded Warriors and sponsors a lot of children (not his) overseas.
