AC/DC  For Those About to Rock-1982. Found $15.00 tickets from a scalper in the newspaper, and had my Mom and Dad drive me to Salt Lake City to the show, because I wasn't old enough to drive.

My first concert I ever went to was The Steve Miller Band, my friend lost our tickets in the parking lot though, so we had to go home.

The first concert I ever saw was Danzig, it was a few bands so they didn't have long set.

Aerosmith 1984 Their (Back in the Saddle tour) all the original members were back together after breaking up. What can I say they blew me away playing all that old classic stuff not. You gotta love The Bad Boys from Boston greatest band ever. Joe perry is my idol i can still see him playing slide guitar with a beer bottle.

Def leppard in 88, one of the first concerts with the one armed drummer, name escapes me....tesla opened....fucking rocked!

RUN DMC....i was little and it was cold i had on a nice size coat and i remember my dad stuffing my jacket with canned beers and teeling my dont take them out until he says so, and if i listen he would by me a poster.  Him and my uncle put the rest of the beers in their jacket pockets.  They probably got really fucked up i got my 1st taste of hip-hop and have been glued ever since

I think it was around 1976 at Anaheim Stadium Aerosmith Rocks tour with Van Halen and a few others I can not remember also on the bill. My brother and a friend had stayed up all night delivering newspapers for the LA Times and we all went to the concert at 5:00 AM. Big lines, drugs everwhere, people getting sick, over doseing, just crazy. There was one cat walking around with a jug and saying if you take a drink put something back in it. He said there was all kinds of booze, acid, qualudes cocaine in the jug. What a jolt for my first show, I was hooked.
 
A few years later went to Cal Jam 2 in Ontario, Ca. me and half a million of my closest friends.
 
Man, the 70's concert scene was just incredible.

great show!


since then ive been listening to alot of metal all day every day.  so if i go to a show nowadays it is 90% of the time a metal show. 

BTW, im jealous of ALOT of posters in this thread.

1972-me and my late brother drive down from Northern California to Oakland.
 
A's Game-Reggie Jackson Day-got his MVP award that day. Dodger great Roy Campenella on the field. Fabulous.
 
Concert that night at the indoor Oakland Coliseum. Edgar Winter Group with Rick Derringer on guitar.
Opening act? Little group from Engand-Bad Company!
 
One of the best days fo my life.

The Police, Synchronicity tour, August 20th, 1983, JFK stadium, Philly. There were 2 other bands (Joan Jett and Madness, forgetable) and an obscure college radio band called REM opened the show. Great show but it was 105 degrees that day, concession stands were out of beverages and they were selling dixie cups of water for five fucking dollars each which would be ridiculous now but it was highway robbery back then.

My cousin who was in high school was supposed to take me and my friends to Nirvana but the motherfucker never showed up to get us.  He did however pay us back our money for the tickets.  He took some bitches to the show instead.
 
Public Enemy/Anthrax was #2.
 
Korn was #3.

the entire floor was a pit . My girlfriend got a broken nose . I told her to say up top at the bar . She never would listed to me .
