And on CNN they only mention the slap and lip match between Stewart and Logano. Nascar has been getting lots of run in main stream media lately but in this case they&#x27;re missing the real story. Looking forward to watching the Hub in 45 min to get the real facts on Denny&#x27;s recovery.

No official word yet. Won&#x27;t know till later in the week but doubt he races at Martinsville in two weeks. Although, he is from Virginia and loves the paperclip so don&#x27;t be shocked if he does race and win.

&#xD;&#xA;I guess you haven&#x27;t had a back issue yet. Mine was so bad for about 3 years I could barely tie my own shoe. It&#x27;s pretty good now, knock on wood (yea that still works )&#xD;&#xA;He&#x27;s not my favorite driver but I don&#x27;t want to see anyone hurt.

@Clepto, Storylines will be HUGE @Martinsville+a short track, in which, there should a few paybacks and tempers-bring good early TV Ratings. Clepto, what you think about more short track racing? Bring back The Rock, Wilksboro, how bout racing @ Nashville+Portland, and The Beast-Milwauke's Best, a mile! Just a thought......It'll be interesting Eldora, OH dirt track w/the TRUCKS this summer!

Also, Clepto why doesn't have s/thing like CMJohnson does w/PGA Tour? I think its a lot of fun!

My apologies. Hamlin did wreck Logano on purpose at Bristol though the week before and then talked crap afterwards rather than apologizing. Shows his character. He is cocky. Logano didn&#39;t wreck him on purpose this week. Was just hard racing. I honestly think Hamlin needs to learn a lesson from this and improve his character.

Sucks for Denny for sure, back issues are no laughing matter. It will be interesting to see if he can get back in the car soon, if not, you could throw away those futures on Denny as the points won&#x27;t be going to him and it would be highly unlikely he made the chase. Hope he is back for Martinsville.

I&#x27;m guessing the issue for Hamlin won&#x27;t be sitting and driving.  It&#x27;s a lot of work driving a 500 mile races, but he&#x27;s in a sitting position and isn&#x27;t putting pressure on the back like a runner, or football player would.  I&#x27;m guessing (and I repeat only guessing) the issue will be doctors worried about him getting more hurt in a wreck.  If he takes another hard shot into the wall, he could really be looking at some serious injuries.  I bet doctors play it safe with him and hold him out a little bit.  On a side note, I&#x27;ve played sports my entire life and I understand wanting to get out on the field and play...but I hope Denny doesn&#x27;t push this.  Backs are serious issues and I&#x27;d hate to see him get hurt further.

actually, sitting for long periods of time with a back problem is very difficult also. You usually need to stand up and stretch and walk around a bit....atleast when I hurt mine that was how it was. Chances are he is going to miss a few weeks.

Shooters correct. With some back issues sitting is the worst. I used to kneel at my desk at work. but who knows with this trama related injury.
