Just signed up so I could post a little good and a little bad. First of all, I think Swag's philosophical post yesterday was spot on. Couldn't agree more. Much props for lifting us all above the fray for a moment.
However, I do have to agree with the post earlier regarding the record keeping. I checked back on all your posts since you joined, and the "posted" record here on Covers is 8-5 after last night.
Feel free to tell me if I'm missing something, but here are the plays:
1/27: Bucks +11.5 L Jazz +5 W OKC ML W 1/28 Rockets -6.5 W Lakers -4 L no posts 1/29 or 1/30 1/31 Knicks -9 W 2/1 OKC +1.5 W Clippers ML W 2/2 Memphis +4 W Knicks u191 L 2/3 Bucks -4.5 L Lakers ML W T-wolves -5 L
That's 8-5 by my count. Even if you count the 3-0 you state at the beginning of the 1/27 thread (which are not posted anywhere), that's still 11-5, not 13-3.
I'm not hating on you Swag, just keeping things honest. Just happened on another forum where a guy came on, did OK, but padded his record here and there enough to claim 66% winners, and what do you know, he went tout asking for $200/month. Not saying that's what you're doing, but too many people on forums seem like they don't do their own homework and just tail blindly, in which case they should get fleeced by a tout. Regardless, I hope you keep picking winners and it really won't matter. BOL on tonight's card!

I think this is why it's there's a dis-incentive for BS artists to start a season thread. It's too easy to track the real record and call bullshit. Starting a new thread every day makes it much more work to figure out if they are padding or not.
