Naw. Im a Minny fan and i barely miss any of their games, so now you may think im biased, but i know for a fact ive watched Kevin Love play in more games than you have. And i could care less if he does well or not but theres some things about him that stick out; Cavs used him poorly giving him bad presence on the court, hes better when he plays in a free role where he can unfold his capabilities better instead of just camping from downtown. 

"Kevin love cant play D" is a huge misconception among the ignorant public, GO WATCH HIM PLAY FOR GODS SAKE. Hes not bad. He does things techniquely well when it comes to defense. Its like saying James Harden is bad defensively which everyone and their nans think, yeah Harden aint exactly great but to say he is terrible due to some youtube highlights is beyond stupid, Harden improved alot defensively this year compared to previous years, hes still got a long way to go but its defintely getting better. 

Heres some things Kevin Love does well on defense; He squares up perfectly, he cuts off angles, good foot placement, using his height in a good way.

Heres a thing Love does poorly on defense; Takes plays off/leaves his man. He does this because his offense is prioritized. Its a strategic selection. 

But to call Love a bad defender is BEYOND retarded and just goes to show u dont follow him but base it all off of one game or off some highlights where he been sleeping.

Kevin Love is honestly, hands down, one of the best players in the league. Watch him show the entire world who he is in this series. I promise you he will do great. He Loves being on the biggest scene and he will feed off of it. Trust me. The only thing that will prevent him from ruling these finals is if he gets injured.

Kevin. But its all coming down to how much Cavs allow him to. In terms of leadership and pure basketball skills its Kevin Love for me by a thousand miles.

In what aspect is Love better then  Klay? Klay has better 3pt shooting and better movement on defense. Just because Love gets more rebound doesn't mean he's the better player. Not even close. Love is by far the most unreliable player on the floor for the Cavaliers this post season on the defensive end. He only grabs rebounds because he's friggin 6'10 with a 7'0 wing span. My mother can grab rebounds with that type of physical attributes.

Offense: He's just a taller version of a catch and shooter. And not a better one at that compared to Klay who would smash him in a shooting contest.

Defense: Klay defends the best guards in the game every night. Love just sits in the paint and hopes to get rebounds while everyone runs around him.

Put it this way, if there was a draft of all the NBA players by all the NBA teams, Klay would be selected way before Love.  Klay would be selected mid 1st round, Love would still be there in the mid to late 2nd.

Klay has much easier shots than Love does because of Curry, Warriors are much better at spacing the floor. So you cant compare it in terms of that. Love is much more aggressive on the ball, hes a better passer and i prefer him as a shooter as well because Love hits more difficult shots than Thompson. Love is also a smarter player and a better passer. And yeah you said it urself, Love is better at rebounding and collecting.

You are incredibly ignorant. LOL Easier shots? Did you not watch any of the OKC/GSW warriors? He had to create shots that Love would miss 9/10 times. Love shots are open shots cause of Kyrie and LeBron. No way KLOVE can do what Klay does. GTFO.

He didnt create any shots, he had them gifted to him. Just lean back and watch this series and see for yourself who the better player is on the biggest scene.

I agree with SCC here. Compare Klay game 6 against OKC versus Kevin's Atlanta series where Atlanta decides to double Kyrie on the pick and roll with Kevin, leaving Kevin wide open 3 in the corner.

They double teamed Kevin Love as well, pretty much went 2 man on whoever had the ball. Atlanta ran around like headless chickens defensively in that series, never seen a team look so confused defensively before. They were always on their heels and they should have zone covered instead of running man coverage. It didnt work out for them.

Do you not get that he played 40 minutes there because they lost probably 70% of games?  If game is close he sits because he cant guard anyone.

This is the dumbest thread I've seen here in weeks.  What planet are you from and what basketball have you been watching for the last two years to even fathom that Kevin Love is better at basketball than Klay Thompson?  Seriously?  

The ONLY thing that Kevin Love has on Klay is size and rebounding.  Literally, every single other aspect of Klay's game is better.  It's not even remotely close.  

Kevin Love is a HORRIBLE defender.  He's not even passable.  It's horrific.  He can't defend the post, he takes wayyyyyyyy too much time switching on screens, and he gets blown by every single time he tries to D someone up on the perimeter.  

I get you are trying to get a rouse out of people, but it's fuckking stupid.  This argument is idiotic and completely butchered.  You are wrong and every single person that comes into this thread and every single person that watches the NBA realizes and understand that Kevin Love is not even close to the all around basketball player that Klay Thompson is.

I have and know a bunch of people that live in or were from Minnesota and every single one of them thanks God everyday that Kevin Love is no longer a member of the Timberwolves.  

Kevin Love CANNOT guard the pick and roll.  He is STILL clueless about switching and is a liability.  It already showed in game 1 and will continue to pile on to the point where they may not be able to play him in crunch time.  

It's really sad to think there are people that actually believe Kevin Love is better than Klay Thompson.  It's really mind boggling.

Seriously, what are you watching and why do you think you know more than every single basketball analyst that does this stuff for a living where all say that he is a defensive mess?  Get a clue, dude and stop acting so arrogant about things you are clueless about.

Why do you think the Warriors said no to Klay for Love?  Because Klay is WAY BETTER!  

If and when the Cavs lose this series, Love will be traded because he is bringing this team down.  

Kevin Love is the most overrated player in this series and it will continue to show.

If Love hadn't been hurt last year, the Cavs may have been swept.

Congrats on averaging a double double on a sorry behind team, none of which he was able to play a full season, because oh yeah, he's also injury prone.  SAWFT.

You couldn't convince one GM in the NBA to take Kevin Love over Klay Thompson.
