It's all about Charles if the sixers hadn't blown that 10th pick he would have a shot as a sixer long live doc
people love to talk about that draft in my opinion it was the sixers that also blew it as bad as the blazers as life long sixer fan since the 70s that one single pick destroyed any chance to compete with celtics lakers and pistons it's a dark day in sixers history .

ima double down on my stance here and i dont even care about declaring my bias...statistically in most individual categories he is amongst the very best point guards in the history of the game, his PER is magnificent and now more than ever we are witnessing the incredible impact he has on a teams fortunes..ANY teams fortunes.just check the records,EVERY SINGLE TEAM he joins improves quite a bit or a whole lot,and he is the only change in most instances so that shows true value when your wins go up instantaneously with one significant player addition.

and also i know its meaningless and just counts for nothing...but surely the imaginary "mythical" title of best POUND FOR POUND player in the history of the game has to go to cp3..he is playing in the land of the giants where all of the top 50 all-time legends are pretty much 6'6" and above and the guy is probably about 5'11" at best and though he is a quality athlete he was never westbrook or derrick rose in terms of being a blur or moving around on pogo sticks...what he has accomplished and the overall influence he has is truly remarkable....and again, yeah i realise you dont get extra credit just for being short.everyone gotta play with the hand they are genetically dealt.

All great players, pack, but if I had to start a team I’d take Paul over all those guys.

Bad luck. Maybe this is finally his year. He met someone in Davis, who is more injury prone than him. That flipped his fortune.

when an irresistible force meets an immovable object...only ONE can emerge un-injured!!....actually they both got injured so all par for the course.

Without Patrick Ewing the Knicks would have accomplished Nothing. Knicks made and competed in the playoffs for 13 consecutive yrs. He averaged 21 points a game in an era of 89-86 type games.
Not in your top ten, I would like to see that list.

I know, but the poor guy actually has a theory named after him that suggests his team actually played better without him: “The Ewing Theory.” Whether fair or not, that in itself is a strike against him. I’m kidding, of course. But only partly:)
