There are two different points that are being discussed here. It seems that you are taking the approach that Bosh is a better third option than player X because of his talent / game. But it also seems that you are ignoring the angle of the needs of the Heat.
The other angle is that yes Bosh is a good player but there are many other players out there who would be a much better fit for the Heat right now (sounds funny to say considering they just won the championship). For example I think that Boozer, Noah, Randolph, Chandler, and Lee would all be a better fit for the Heat than Bosh.
I am sure that I am missing some but you get the point. The workerbee type of player who plays tough and likes to bang down low.
