Why isn’t Giannis (2020 defensive player of the year) guarding KD ?

Giannis couldn’t beat the heat because he never wanted to guard Jimmy Butler .
This year he finally guarded Butler and he shit him down . Time to switch the defense over to KD. Also stop acting scared of Blake Griffin
He can't guard Durant. He needs to guard griffin and destroy him and the nets on the inside, blocks and rebounds, and beat the nets up on the inside at the offensive end.
But don't tell coach bud. Instead he shoots 3 3 pointers (missed them all) and runs like a chicken with his head cut off on defense at the perimeter.
They need to fire the coach.
agree irs embarrassing at this point. Bud is a clown, a total shit show of a head coach. Only reason I’m not taking the Bucks in game 3 is that hump of a head coach.
He's not spry enough to guard KD. I don't know why NBA fans today want every star player to be a wing, joker being the lone exception. And even he is a point center with a jimmy. PJ Tucker is thought of as a good defender but he's like Pat Bev. They are more pesky than good. PJ will shut down a star player in one game of a playoff series and everybody will hem and haw and forget about the times he's had his shit pushed in. KD has like 6 inches on him probably well over a foot from point of release to top of extended hand. He can shoot mid-range jumpers over him all day. In theory, based on position and body type, Kris Middleton should be guarding KD.

It's one thing when the fans want every player to be a wing but you'd expect more from a coach. Everytime someone one brings up Giannis' 3pt shooting% my refrain is, "Why the hell is he shooting 3's?!!" He should be destroying the Nets on the inside and hitting his free throws, of which he would probably shooting 20. Pretty good analysis, bro, even for a guy that doesn't know basketball.

He's right you're not going to stop Kevin Durant. And you're not going to stop Irving.
Their problem is they are trying to stop these guys-you can't overreact. You can't panic when Durant makes a shot. Just make it as hard for him as you can. Otherwise we got what we got in Game 2-the other guys are getting wide open shots rebounds and dunks.
And you have to move the ball on offense. Standing around. Giannis shooting jump shots, he's terrible at jump shots. Middleton throwing up prayers because the ball isn't moving and he has a guy on him.
It comes down to what we all know- Bud, a candidate the worst coach in the league. I don't know if he can motivate the players. And I don't know if Giannis is willing to go inside and do the dirty work in Game 3 or not. I don't know fellas if Bud will coach right or not, staying away from the Bux like the plague right now, imo any game they are on right now is toxic material, for or against.

@budwiser all good points, especially the not settling on the offense part. I was facepalming everytime Giannis pulled up from the perimeter like he was KD or something. Definitely not touching the Bucks the rest of the playoffs. I guess we will see in the first 5 minutes if they are ready tonight.
