Stick to poker and get a real job .Your teasers look awful and will bury you over the long run.

Trust me I have been wagering sports over 30 years. I honesty wish you the best of luck. I just do not see you lasting more than 2 months.

No one betting for a living should have that many parlays and teasers -- they are a known money taker

as you guys will see I only stick to a few games a night and I do not do many teasers. About 3-4 a month is all.

Can I ask why you think all of my teasers look awful? I know I crossbet the raptors, but other than that?

They tend to look good on paper but you need to hit 2 games in a NBA game I truly do not think 5 points is enough. Its a long season and teams sometimes tend not to show up as expected.Just from my personal experience. These particular teasers obviously might win but not a good idea in the long run. Everyone has a different specialty it might work for you but I would bet the teasers extremely small and you can learn from your experiences through an entire season.
 Your best chance of success is straight bets and solid money management.I would try to stick to betting close to the same amount on each game. If you get hot maybe you can raise your bets a bit. If you get cold you can lower them a bit. You seem like a smart guys so money management will be your key . No pressing no doubling up. If you can hit 56% then you can make some money.52.5% if I recall is break even .

If I have a BR of 100k is betting 3k on games I feel good about too much?

poker br management is different and you need to have a couple hundred buy ins to the mtt you play. to be safe.

What is your reasoning for liking the Bills so much vs Miami? Just curious. My numbers point to the Bills but, apart from their 43-23 thumping of the shltty Jets, they only average 19 points on the road this year. Miami have beaten Patriots and Chargers scoring 30+ points in the process.

The Chargers aren't anything special this year and the same goes for the Patriots defense. Division matchups always being out the best in teams, and that's why I also hope the Bills keep it close.

BOL! You want to do this for a living, play three separate money lines or spreads instead of risky parlays and teasers. I feel real good about Missisippi state +8.5, Georgia/Auburn over 68.5, and Florida State ml this weekend. Would be shocked ii these don't go at least 2/3.

But the dude has 4 teasers and a parlay as well -- so basically 5 parlays -- this will not end well

And that is 4 teasers on a 5 game sample -- so basically he capped the 1 game NFL card, and the 4 game NBA card and said, fugg it I need to play a side in every game tonight -- whole month of his teasers gone on one of the smallest cards of the week -- I thinks that statement is mighty mighty false -- no way this is anything but a hoax thread -- maybe this is Manila Playa or Frank the Bank with a new user name?

during the month of October, I made a total of 185 plays ranging 3 sports, I do not think that is that much. 14 of those bets were teasers and 8 parlays. sue me.

nah I am going to let my picks do the talking. I am no 30 year vet at this, but in 2 years of pretty decent volume I am up a decent amount and hitting 53.8% of my bets which is not terrible imo.

the majority of posters except for 3 of them have been awesome and have given me good advice and i thank them. covers is a great site. i am also no stranger to forum trolls and i have been on 2p2 as a mod since 2004 lol.

A good rule to follow is 3% of your bankroll. Yes 3k is correct. 
One more thing if you truly want to be successful over the long run then no reason to bet parlays.There is no reason for you to go 1-1 and lose money.

Just pointing out what you made obvious -- you said you only play 3-4 teasers a month and then you chose the smallest card of the week to lay 4 down, and added a parlay in hockey -- there are people who come to the forum for advice and the type of recklessness you promote, coupled with the dichotomy of what you state you do, vs. what you are doing, is at the very least worth pointing out -- I'll step out -- good luck

I hope you come back and post, I just felt like you were attacking me for no reason, not to mention saying im some banned troll account lol, I very well may fail and everyone will come here to fade me all year along, and if that is the case so be it. However I am no dummy, I know im +ev in this game. If I didn't think so I would not play, believe me.

furthermore, while my picks appear to be a little reckless, I truly do feel strongly about them, regardless of the outcome tonight. if you come back tomorrow and I hope you do, you'll see much different picks. I have 4 games I am leaning and none of them are parlays and teasers. It's just tonight it feels right.
