All I am saying is that after having seen both careers (one yet unfinished), and having the web as a resource to find out everything about a player and how they interacted with their team, LBJ wins out. You can take MJ. I'm taking LBJ. You'll come around. You'll see. It will just take time. 

The big turnoff is ESPN (the square's square network) lauding him day in, day out.

But remember, they gave MJ the athlete of the century award over BABE RUTH. This is what they do.

I hope you have a WHOPPER of a reason, make that an entire GRILL of WHOPPERS, to take the Cavs. Because I went deeper into the mineshaft than Geraldo Rivera did to Al Capone's tomb for this one.

And if you just come away saying "Well, I'll take Lebron", that is not enough , because that same guy and the Cavs KILLED bettors with a 5-10 ATS run to end the season and a 3-8 ATS record to begin the season.

But I've also seen so many teams come out strong and die right in front of me.

Live betting is the casinos best friend. It feeds into every gamblers degeneracy, actually the worst aspect of it, treating a sports bet like a slot machine.

And we all know what slots do. They take everything. My biggest losses ever have come through live-betting. I really don't use it much anymore and that has been to be benefit. And I've been doing this since the 4th grade.

It's an argument against in-game betting. Take it as you will. It requires spontaneous capping. That is exactly what the books want.

And making a bet at age 9 means I've been capping far longer than most here, including yourself.

Now I gave you ONE DOZEN reason to take the Warriors all explained down to the finest detail.

And you came away with "I'm on the Cavs."

No way is this a once in a lifetime setup. Cavs can maybe upset to make it a  great series start and I am sure the public will be all over the golden state. Remember how the Warriors started out against the spurs. It could happen again.

Having a finals match-up in where the same team is on its third match-up is unprecedented in NBA history I a venture to say it will never happen again as long as I live.

That makes it unique to this lifetime.

So what don't you understand about that.

No, people do read the write-up. A select few, but people do read the entire thing.

Such a strange phenomena to DISCOURAGE lengthy write-ups and communicate as little as possible on a MESSAGE BOARD!?!?

Jordan would NOT be as hated as LeBron or hated at all. Yes he was a jerk but unlike in Kobe or Lebron's case Jordan was EXTREMELY CHARISMATIC AND GOOD LOOKING! Mike had an aura about him. Lebron doesn't. Lebron is ugly, he joins superteams, he's generally nowhere as likeable as Jordan.  Ever listen to to the great players he robbed of championships back then? Reggie Miller, Patrick Ewing etc, they all talk with great admiration of the guy. They loved to hate him back then so did opposing fans. Whereas in Lebron's case they just hate him.

Jordan was the kind of guy that even if you hate him you secretly think he's awesome. He just had a way about him. Yes looks and charisma are apart of it but also that he was the most intensely competitive guy to ever play in the NBA. Then you have Lebron creating superteams and even then whining..we need more help. What a tool.  Still, I'll give Lebron respect for the he did in Cleveland way back when he took them to the finals with a bunch of nobodies. But as far as Jordan would be as hated as Lebron if Jordan played today. That's a joke.

Refs loved Jordan. Fans loved him even opposing fans.

Kobe came close to Jordan but he was a just an imitation. Kobe was awesome and charismatic too but he tried too hard to be like Jordan and it showed.  Jordan was just Jordan and there will never be anybody like him again. He was a killer.

I see these threads from these kids pondering outloud who is better, Jordan or Lebron and it makes me snicker at their cluelessness. Jordan dominated in a league when big men were allowed to dominate. Can you imagine what he would do with today's rules? Damn.

No series bet. Fading LBJ for the series at almost -300 is not desirable. I'll go game by game. I believe the Warriors win it but wouldn't bet over -175.

Ben if he played today with the same style he'd be successful but not as massively successful as he was with Milwaukee LA. But of course he'd adapt his game to today too.

Amazingly people don't want the next Kareem. They want the next Curry or Draymond. I don't even put lBJ and MJ in there because they will not be duplicated. And Kobe gets honorable mention.
