Again Toronto missed a golden opportunity to win a game they should have, but yes people claiming this series is over couldn't be further from the truth.
Toronto just needs to avoid a hangover in game 2 and they'll be alright.
Cleveland will wear out by the end of the series:
Tomorrow's game will be:
Cleveland’s 5th playoff game in 9 days. Lebron's total minutes: 161
Toronto’s 4th playoff game in 9 days. Derozan’s total
minutes: 112
Toronto’s 4th playoff game in 9 days. Lowry’s total
minutes:107
Toronto must survive the hangover in game 2.

There's a reason Cleveland will still be an underdog to win this series even if they leave Toronto with a 1-1 split

This is what the Raptors do in the playoffs ALL THE TIME. They cannot be trusted. Demar and Kyle FOLD like a wet newspaper in crunch time. And no matter who replaces the players from the year before, they all follow suit.
Believe me, I am ROOTING for you/the Raps as a dread a GS/Cle Part IV, but I am NOT putting a single dime on the series line on Toronto now at +115. Not one dime.
Not on these two chokers, which they are until they prove otherwise, and they chose a hell of a time to choke last night.

Cleveland might not have led in regulation but there is plenty of room for improvement for them as well.
Lebron is unlikely to go 12-30 again, and certainly not 1-6 at the FT stripe.
Raps had 10 more FT attempts, possible but unlikely to happen again.
Love is still playing like crap and maybe that won't change as he's been crap all playoffs but if he does start knocking down those open 3s....plus TT is now a viable alternative allowing Love to play at his natural position, if Love continues to struggle starting at C they can continue increasing TT's minutes.
I'm not saying Cavs win, I don't really have a clue but I wouldn't look to game one as evidence as though Raptors 'should' win game 2 and beyond. Lebron basically got no help vs Indy, he got help last night but had what he described as one of his worst playoff games so yeah. Of course JR and Green are likely to regress as well but overall Cavs can be a lot better than they were in game 1.

This raptors team ALL with Derozan and Lowery and a head coach who never comes up with something different to attack James, has lost EIGHT STRAIGHT playoff games to Cleveland ALONE, 5 of 8 at home!
Forget it. They are done. Lebron was giving himself a MANICURE on the bench DURING THE GAME!
This is a JOKE. Believe me, I’d want nothing more than to see LC cash his series bet but Lebronto is finished.

If you post on here you will get trolls. I don’t care who you are or how good your record is. It comes with posting. Ignore the haters and keep doing your thing.
Cavs sweep looks pretty good as Derozan and Lowery clearly have friction going on. Lowery looks like he can’t wait to leave Toronto. Love, Smith, and Green all playing at a higher level and George Hill actually being on the floor is a huge addition this series(a lot faster pace)

eh,im not so sure of that friction thing...they both make no secret whatsoever of being best friends off the court in real life and nothing contrary has come up so youre just reading too much into it probably.
as for everyone saying "its different this year, its different this year, raptors are different",question is how do ya really tell??i personally felt they might be ready to turn the corner also, but not enough to bet on it...but regardless,is there any real way for us bettors to predict the reversal of a long-term trend such as this that highly likely has a large psychological element to it??short of talking to raptors players therapists what can we do,we're totally guessing, right??
cos when you look at the cold, hard facts there is ZERO to suggest that they are actually "different" this season...they were very, very good in the 82 game sched,as they always are...but then thats never been their problem, its always flaming out in the playoffs over and over again to the point where it MUST be partly mental at least....i mean we get derozan in the post game presser after a series loss basically saying they will always lose so long as the other team has lebron and toronto has lost to lesser teams than themselves as well.........no point in pointing out what a big jump they took this year in so many statistical categories and how great their bench is because, once again, its in the REGULAR SEASON.thats not the issue..everything they achieved and all the players that achieved it still hasnt been proven on the stage that matters.
again,i liked their chances like alot of people in here (and the series aint over yet so i dont mean to insinuate any finality just yet),but the bigger question for all of us is how do we recognise the end of a pattern such as this,is it just a matter of "well, about now feels right!!"???...in the nba it seems you just dont bet against a historically transendent player perhaps??i mean eventually they all lose at some point but you would have lost a shi..t-tonne of money over the years betting against jordan,lebron,kobe/shaq in waiting for them to fall..
