Barako Bull-3.5 - At question during the Offseason since they traded 4-6th picks in ds' years 1st Round and settled for veterans. But looking at their lineup they're more stable and has depth and can easily compete with any team. From 1 - 5 Positions they have a multiple of players than can easily stay with the rotation and stick with their Roles. Having Pena is a plus since Asi is back, Bringing PENA to bang with ASI is like the 90's and Early 20's. Which ASI sometimes getting a Hard time against PENA.
GLOBALPORT+5.5 - As I've said New look and new Life. Totally Rejigged and revitalized. The only weakness i See in my team is Chemistry. Bringing only 6 players last season and a totally new lineup with totally new coaching staff is really hard to think that they can click in their 1st Game. But we all know that GLOBALPORT is now one of the most anticipated teams and could be a surprise contender if the Bromance Rookies and a great group of Veterans show up in true potentials AS A TEAM. Having a +5.5 is really huge for them considering that CABAGNOT, TUBID and LANETE IS STILL Out. But We all know Petron. Now Talented as much, Experienced BUT TIRED.

Barako Bulls -3.5 - I'm hoping to get them at 3 or lower. Air21 is an easy pick and making them dogs even warrants a lot draw from the public. They beefed up with Asi as seen from last conference. He still have a couple more big games in him. Outside Taulava, I think they downgraded by dealing off the Cool Cat. Any semblance of order in their backcourt will be handed to Simon Atkins who IMO isn't PBA-ready. Cortez has been the difference maker since being traded last season in the same conference. He obviously burned out coming to the last conference of the season which lead to bad outputs in his game. They will still rely heavily on Canaleta for offense who'll be again playing 23 feet away from the basket.
Barako Bulls despite trading their picks went with players who can contribute now. IMO, that is a great move in their part given they are expected to get RR, Terrence and Salva. They drafted Fortuna who gets the better of the two ex-Tamaraws during their college days and Lastimosa who'll be prolific as Romeo if healthy. The trade did make sense (if they intend to really compete in this league) since they'll get back Intal (who's a lot better than Salva) and a lot stability in their front court (look at Maierhofer, Wilson, Marcelo, Pena, Isip and Pennisi to be quite a decent bunch).
I have this feeling the Energy Colas will be playing a lot of half court style instead of their gun slinging tempo with Coach Rajko. Looking at both lineup, Air21 looks to be going to Asi in the post to free up space for their shooters/slashers. Barako can play them without doubling the post and still maintain good spacing on defense. Back court is just about even. XFactor will be the new guys on the team and how they will mesh with their new teams.
I say Mark Macapagal engages Canaleta on a shootout. Barako having limited offensive options, will have to force Intal and Buenafe to carry the crudgels here.
