LOL. They can actually do that?

I was following their training camp and Derrick Brown has been a revelation. The man can take 15 minutes off the Cats' rotation and produce quality numbers for them. DJ Augustin is in great form in the camp and is averaging 12points in 60% shooting, 3.5ast to 0.5 turn overs in the 2 pre-season games which is pretty decent (though you'd want more assist from him, but it's only the pre-season). The Beast (G.Wallace) is in his healthiest form at the moment as well as Diaw and S-Jax. Tyrus Thomas is amazing for them as well and could easily be in the starting 5.

I think they still have a legit chance sneaking in 7th or 8th if they can get DJ Augustin to do wonders for them or Shaun Livingston transforms into a real floor general. Larry Brown's system requires a very smart Point to run his offense and defense hasn't been a problem for this team.

Here's how I see the East would wind up:

1 - Miami
2 - Boston
3 - Orlando
4 - Chicago
5 - Atlanta
6 to 8 should be a toss up between any of these teams Milwaukee, Charlotte, Washington (They look great on paper and is very promising with the way they play the Pre-Season), Indiana and maybe even Detroit.
