I think cavs have pretty much gave up. Pistons are probably the side tonight...even if for me it's a unbettable simply for the fact neither of the 2 teams care. Anyway,the great run the cavs made was mainly because irving was off the court.After he returned,they became horrible again.

100% false.
He's been back for three games.
@Orlando 17/8/7
@ATL 13/4/7
Vs. Charlotte 44/8/7
They destroyed Orlando which is a tough out at home.
Could do nothing against ATL who was trying to suppress any and all tanking rumors for one night.
And lost in OT vs. the Bobcats.
Before that they won 5 of 6.
The problem has been waiters adjustment with Kyrie. He worked much better with jack who deferred to him. Kyrie defers to no one.
If they beat the bobcats in OT in a game that came down to a coin flip, people would say he's back to being an all-star and the Cavs would be 2-1 since his return.
And yes, they have something to play for: they are 3.5 out with 4 to play.
Detroit has nothing to play for and if management were smart, would do everything to manufacture a loss.

And they are the same size favorites (7.5) as last night, where they got beat, against a team that is worse than the Celtics in my opinion. And they are on a b2b.
And the game starts at 7:30.
And this one starts at 7:00 so there is virtually no way for them to 100% know their playoff fate while playing it.
But this is about the Cavs, much more so than the Hawks, and the Pistons infinitely more so than the Celtics.

Yes I do. I noted it in my post.

I'll keep it simple...det is terrible at shooting the 3 (which ones more inside game on a B2B grind) and terrible at giving up points (possibly dead last here or second to last), against a rested Cavs time that can salvage some pride for the second to last home game. Det has had I believe 4 road B2B situations, 3 were pretty ugly, they only beat the Bucks. And I'm no conspiracy theorist but it would not be unthinkable to believe someone in the front office to have joked to the staff to "lighten up a bit" hint hint....you made your point post the Dumars stepping down media leak...LC had spotted a great pick yesterday and it came through like butter....tonight the wheels fall off IMO.
GL everyone.

thats funny scal, I'm on cavs -6 myself...you just confirmed what I was thinking.
That's what the write-ups are for. To confirm rather than convert. Conversions are rarely achieved and when they are, the person convinces themselves that's how they felt about a side or belief the whole time anyhow.
