Asomugha, it's no use preaching to blind media babies. Lebron, today, is the best teammate one could ask for, and it's not even close. There's a site with "clutch" stats (4th quarter/OT, less than 5 minutes remaining, neither team ahead by more than 5 points) that shows Lebron shooting 45%, producing more steals, blocks, rebounds, and less turnovers, than Kobe Bryant in the same situation. Kobe also shoots 10% lower at 35% and the same is true regarding 3pters. Granted, I agree Lebron needs to work on his free throws, but the stats are right there to shut these guys up that only pay attention to what the media gives them.
I will say what I said in another thread; I still live to see the day where Lebron shoots his team out of a game and loses; moreso, I have never seen him shoot his team out of the game then make a game winning shot that was necessary only because he wasted 10 previous team possessions to selfishly attempt body twisting fade aways, and be deemed a hero for it.
Only Kobe Bryant can be deemed a hero for making a shot that wasn't needed until his coach put him in the game and his team loses a 10 point lead.
Tell me who's the better team player.
Michael Jordan never won a ring until he was 28.
And let's criticize Lebron for wanting to be on a better team to win a championship? All I remember is him fulfilling all six years of his contract in Cleveland and never complaining publicly about his subpar supporting cast. Much unlike Kobe Bryant, who declared he was leaving town mid-contract if he wasn't instantly surrounded by competent players.
Try and tell me Kobe would have even made it to the finals with that Cleveland roster.
While on a roster of similar talent to Lebron's Cavaliers, Kobe Bryan'ts Lakers went 34-48 and missed the playoffs by a wide margin.

Kobe doesn't have three of those rings without Shaq carrying the team. I'm sure if you would have given Shaq at that age to Lebron he would have won at least one championship, maybe more, but I say "at least one" because Mike Brown would have somehow found a way to lose because of his inability to coach.

    What a idiot,

Lebron basically went on live tv and said he wanted to abandon Clevland to go to maimi to win a ring because he new he wouldnt win one in Clev..The difference in ( Lebron Choke artist/ cant shoot free throws when it counts James)  is that Lebron had to go on to a 3 allstar team to try and win his first ring. SAD.. and even if he wins a ring with maimi this year or next year he had to switch to a better team to do so... "pathetic" Yeah real KING huh, mans the best player in the nba,

Rose = brought life back into Bulls fans and playoff bound now could also bring a ring to Bulls once again

Lebron = brought life into Cavs and could have brought a title eventually to this Cav team, but intead sold out to a team that was already good.. and can win without him...

Kobe = Gonna retire a laker and is why the lakers are still playoff bound team

    Jordan= GOAT

Larry Bird said it best - if he was playing today and wanted to have fun he would play with James, If he wanted to win he play with Kobe.. " guys right I have to admitt "

Why compare Lebron to Kobe , or even the GOAT, thats stupid, he doesnt even play the same position.. as them ..and to be honest Lebron barley started getting a better shot down this year.. hes not a shooter by anymeans, he can drive his body out and get a foul called for points or possibly dunk, u would think a King would have it all? He does act and pull the - i just feel and got fouled flop better than anyone in the league.. Guy should become an actor after his career is over

You Lebron hardcore fans make me laugh because u compare him to Goat and Kobe when, one obviously doesnt play anymore, other is close to being retired.. Lebron gots alot of years in him to chase rings, So does Durrant, who could possibly get his first this year and before your beloved so called King ... why not compare him to who hes racing for titles with now... and in the future before he retires... They are playing and older Celtics team that will not be together next year, celtics big three in there prime with rondo would destroy your big 3 maimi team , or should i say 4 lebron-wade-bosh-refs

    Jordan= GOAT

You must be blind or have the reading comprehension of a kindergartner.
I am only comparing him to Kobe because that's all anyone does (clearly... what a stupid question of you to ask).
Lebron went on tv and said he's joining the Heat. You obviously took something different from it because that's how you saw it. Let's blame him for wanting a legitimate shot at a championship?
And are you kidding? Rose has one of the best supporting casts in the entire NBA. Did you forget his team took down some of the league's top juggernauts while he was on injured reserve? I dont even remember his team's record without him but that team would make the playoffs each and every year without him on the team.
And maybe you just didnt read anything I said (judging by your response, I'd say so), but my point was Lebron never publicly cried about his teammates while UNDER CONTRACT.
Were you not alive when Kobe went public about his dissatisfaction with his (current) team? He sure as hell wasn't 100% about retiring a Laker back then because he threatened his management.
I'm a hardcore Lebron fan? LMAO. I'm just an unbiased spectator who's calling it as I see it.
You're out of line for saying i'm in the wrong for comparing him to Kobe Bryant. Where have you been for the past 5 years? That's all people have been doing.
And when did I ever say Jordan wasn't the GOAT? All I said was he didn't win a ring until 28. You're just reading into what I say and putting words in my mouth.
It's well known that Lebron isn't a pure shooter. And tell me who the best player in the nba is since you're laughing at the answer being Lebron James.
And I love how you didn't argue about Kobe having two rings at most if it weren't for Shaq.
You're totally in the wrong on so many levels that i'm not going to take the time to dissect every wrong thing you said.

One more thing... you seriously don't understand that Kobe was crying about getting all star talent on his team? He was ready to retire something else if he didn't get help. Lebron stayed for six years and waited more than five years for management to acquire a washed up Antawn Jamison. Seriously. Kobe has never won a championship on his own.
And I also love how you disregarded the fact that I posted above; Kobe couldn't carry the same Cavs team to the finals that Lebron did; much less past the first round (if even that).

Look, I hate LeChoke as much as the next guy. Probably more. But the guy was triple teamed. Elevating over 2 shorter guys is one thing, but you gotta pass the rock when you have 3 guys on you. The only problem was the play itself. Terrible spacing and the pass wasnt the greatest either.

Put Kobe in Wade's position, pump faking and getting that clean of a look. Kobe makes that 7-10 times. Kobe never gets that clean of a look for a game winning 3.

Based on your not logical Lebrons the best ever response, you were obviously the guy that was dying when the lakers won there titles , who cares if he won some with shaq, they werent the only 2 on the court with all the points, hell compare shaq and lebron for free throws.. as its clear to the world, lebron needs more help today with that being the heat and refs ( or we can go your route and say wade and bosh) than what kobe did back with just shaq..

Im not even throwing any of his titles with that or in it..

Im not on Kobe or lebrons nuts at all, both are good players with different skills..

but ur so called opinion as u state " Kobe needed shaq

reality , lebron needs Wade , bosh , and refs " even tho I hate when good players get helped by refs, happens to most good players in nba today"

Lebron went on tv and said he's joining the Heat. You obviously took something different from it because that's how you saw it.

So if everyone goes and bends over in front of lebron, your gonna be in that line as well since everyone does it.. or lets be fair - when everyone starts to realize how over rated he is u will too..

And yes guy he said he was going to maimi and when asked why after he stated he wanted to when a ring and felt it his best option, and also apologized to cavs fans, he was happy to lose money if he could get a ring.. which i guess u  couldnt break that code- let me solve for you.. he couldnt do it with cavs becuase hes not that great and needs help...

Here you go so u dont lose any sleep, "hes the king"

hold on everyone, didnt he go to maimi last season, who won the nba finals last year, remind me, was it Lebron himself... oh man guess not... hahahahaha
So let me get this straight also.. do the heat suck more than the cavs... just saying thats why he left right,to get a ring.. but wait he has no one around him as you and everyone state...so yeah he must of took a step backwards in lebrons world... man i missed that one..

You're out of line for saying i'm in the wrong for comparing him to Kobe Bryant.

Did he go to another team? He was a cocky young player! ( doesnt make it right still to say that)
He was 21 when he got his first title and is still a laker!
Not that your wrong for comparing but just stating my opinion that it doesnt make sense to compare him to a different postion, dont understand that.. not just a stab at you
And hey you like lebron thats fine,
I like the game of basketball it self, no fav player.. I like to believe I call it as I see it..just dont understand how people compare or even say  lebron a 27 year old ringless all regular season stat person the greatest... doesnt make since Kobe put up 81 in a game and 62 against Dallas .. just incase u say he ball hogged ? was the score final 62- 61  .. no Does this mean hes the greatest ? No

Im not on Kobe or lebrons nuts at all, both are good players with different skills..

so you're saying kobe wins those three championships without shaq? get real. kobe begged for help after getting carried by shaq. kobe won two more championships surrounded with top talent.
i respect both players as they are both future hall of famers undoubtedly.
and you are truly ignorant for taking everything ive said as "lebrons the best ever" because that is almost identical to the opposite of what im saying. its almost like you never even read what i said, summarized it in your own words from bullshit youve heard before, and then hit the quote button and began your pointless jibber jabber.

hold on everyone, didnt he go to maimi last season, who won the nba finals last year, remind me, was it Lebron himself... oh man guess not... hahahahaha
So let me get this straight also.. do the heat suck more than the cavs... just saying thats why he left right,to get a ring.. but wait he has no one around him as you and everyone state...so yeah he must of took a step backwards in lebrons world... man i missed that one..

if you want to talk overrated, a slightly subjective matter, we can talk derrick rose. calling lebron overrated is laughable.
anyway, show me a player who could win a ring on that cavs team not named michael jordan. seriously, what a stupid thing for you to say. like i said before, kobe bryant couldnt even carry that team out of the first round of the eastern conference playoffs.
yeah he went to miami and in his first season with completely new teammates, they destroyed eastern conference competition and got beaten by a very deep, streaking (running on all cylinders), chemistry-heavy team of hungry veterans attempting their first championship. if you ask me, they overachieved last year and worked the kinks out pretty nicely. if you dont remember, they started last season somewhere near 8-8?
and im not sure if you're serious for those last few lines... if you didnt understand i meant he had nobody around him as a reference to CLEVELAND then i dont know why im responding to you.

No

you're right. he stayed put. you know why? because he was given all star talent around him. did you miss the part where i said lebron waited 5-6 years and management awarded him with a washed up Antawn Jamison? perhaps you misread...
I respect your love for the game as it is similar to mine. I have nothing but respect for the people who put their heart and soul into playing the game to the best of their ability.
Anyway, how is lebron a regular season stat person? in his career, his playoff averages are 28.3pts 8.5reb 6.8ast 1.7stl 1.0blk 3.8to ... .466%/.316%/.743%... so youre completely wrong there AGAIN.
guess what? that means he averages more points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, and a higher field goal % in their respective careers regarding PLAYOFFS only.
oh but look, i quickly checked the regular season and its the same story.
and i never said kobe was a ball hog, but since youre using an 81 point game to prove he's not (LOL?), he had 2 assists in 42 minutes in that game. i know its trivial since he completely went off for 81, but im not sure what your point is there anyway. you said the final score wasnt "62-61" when he went off for 62. and guess how many assists he had? zero. so your argument of "hes not a ball hog because other players scored points" is completely voided.
again, nothing against kobe bryant. he is extremely talented, but seriously, stop typing at me, because everything youve said is a complete joke.

when i meant i checked the regular season and its the same story, i meant their respective regular season CAREER averages. just thought i'd clear that up.
didnt mean to take anything away from the fact that lebron also averages better numbers in points,fg%,3p%, assists, rebounds, steals, and blocks in his PLAYOFF CAREER averages, which completely obliterates whatever you were attempting to say about lebron being a regular season stat person.

LeBron kept them in-game with the 3 pointer, and then u whine like little kids because he passed on to a WIDE OPEN - YEAH U READ THAT RIGHT - WIDE OPEN TEAMMATE. He ALWAYS Picks the better solution for his TEAM not for HIMSELF u little kids. It's a team sport, that is why u wont see Kobe Bryant standing here u idiots. LeBron would be an idiot if he took that shot by himself, he was triple teamed and had a teammate wide open.

LeBron - Best decision maker for sure.

Sit down Miami Haters, now how about a nice piping hot cup of shut the fuck up.

That one comment proves you know absolutely nothing about basketball - but then, anyone who has read your ridiculous drivel already knows that.  I wonder when you hopped on the Heat bandwagon.  Was it one minute after James signed?  Or two?

I'll let you get back to servicing Queen James...

Asomugha I have read all your post and I realize you are probly 16 and don't really know much about basketeball but out of curiosity how many times will LBJ have to choke before you change your mind about his legacy or have you drawn a line in the sand that no matter what he ever does you got his back.  He will eventually make a big play in a big game but if it takes 6 more years will you still be on this sinking ship????
