I've got two plays for today. Let see two simple trends:

Since 2013 Spurs are 25-2 SU and 17-9-1 ATS with avg line of - 6.8 as road favorites on b2b.

Since 2012 Timberwolves are 3-16 and 5-14-0 ATS with avg line of 4.9 as home underdogs after straight up win.

Spurs are healthy and deep team right now. Love Pop rotation last night. Top three players in minutes were LMA with 36:15 and KL with 30:45 and Pau Gasol with almost 27 minutes. No one from the other reach even 25. Throw out b2b factor in the toilet cause Spurs will be fresher than many thought and the flight from Milwaukee to Minnesota is really short.

Here is my second and last for tonight. BOL fellas

Wizards won 9 straight at home against Magic. They won 12 of last 13 overall. Since 2011 Washington are 16-6 SU and 14-7-1 ATS against Orlando overall. That's what I called to own an opponent in long run. Wizards are on b2b to but they are too young to fatigue on rest factor so early in the season. Magic coming off two straight up road wins... I watch this team carefully and don't see them as a tough competitor despite the wins. They play soft at times and will have problems with energize teams like Wash. Can't really see how they will win 3 straight at road and 4 out of 5 against team that own them so badly recent years. If it goes down to the wire I prefer my bet to be in Wall's hands.

I don't use trends, and situational capping weighs very little into my approach of match-up analysis.  Which is probably why I lean T'wolves and have a position on the Magic.  None the less, good luck.

Hardimes What's you arguments for T'wolves and Magic despite b2b which isn't big deal ? Spurs and Wizards are clearly the better teams.

Let's get them. If somehow Magic pulls upset and win 3rd straight on the road tonight we will fade them tomorrow against Celtics.

Bad teams are too unpredictable so I do my best to avoid risking money on them.  Which is why I won't bet T'wolves.  I do have a position on the total (o206) because Spurs' woes on the defensive side of the court are real.  And well, we know about the T'wolves defensively.  

The Wizards are clearly not the better team.  They have one quality win against the Celtics.  Magic are playing great defense, and they don't foul.  Wiz are going to have a tough time offensively, and that lack of production will have to be made up on the defensive side - which is not the style of ball they particularly excel at.

initially I was on the magic, but magic aint much better than the wolves, yes they upset pistons, spurs n okc on the road, but this team is unpredictable too ....they lost all their games right after upset, that's not a good sign, on the other hand, wiz is starting to gel a bit, loss to okc (OT), lost within 5 pts against spurs and won last nite (missed cover by a hook)...and they play their best @ home, while magic 1-8-1 ats in wash....BOL either way !!!

not sure about spurs game!!

GL tonight FunFreaker, I got the Spurs tonight as well and not so sure about Washington if I should play it or pas on it

Great discussion fellas. This start to look like a real thread. Hardimes actually not fouling in some situations is what I don't like in Magic. Sometimes they recieve too easy baskets where they can foul and give their opponent "chance" to miss a point. I think Orlando have much talent but they change their coaches every season and that is the reason they can't find rhythm with their roster. Don't forget that Wizards are finally "healthy"and their offense start to click recently.

 AussieDownUnder I post some trends almost every day. I use SDQL as an additional tool. When I like some play I start to dig in SDQL to find some good trend that support it. Monday I post some nice rebounds situation with only 3 criteria and amazing results 110-10 SU and over 60% ATS since 1995... yesterday two queries with Spurs and Wolves involved and etc. I don't post links on purpose and that's not gonna change. People need to start learn how to make queries on their own. I know people that use only ready queries that somebody give them... they don't even try to learn sportsdatabase language... I don't want to share links with such people. This must be two-way job. If you have hard time with reading my queries (they are mostly simple so I don't think you will have problems) ask me on PM and I will help for sure mate

However 1-1 last night. Damn Wizards.

Payton shot the lights out today and I doubt he can do it two nights in a row.   Current line is -4.5 Celtics

Bad thing here is that Isiah Thomas is questionable and maybe will miss today game. But whatever I still like Celtics. Orlando Magic overperform badly... they won 4 out of their last 5 and they were all on the road. Interesting fact is that Magic won last 5 against Boston at home.

As I promised yesterday if Orlando somehow win we will fade them against Celtics today. All of my stats point me that Magic overperform last games and their regress will start very soon. Why not tonight against hungry for wins and better seed team like Boston. Since 2013 Orlando are 7-14 SU at home after two wins in a row. 0-5 SU after 3 wins. This is all I need to know. Boston will have great opportunity to snap their losing streak (already 5) at Orlando.
