Why Padres over? Think I get the other picks but Cashner back on 5 days rest is essentially unhittable at home?
there is another pitcher in this game....brunson arroyo ....he sucks, and could give up 4 by himself to the light hitting pads....now, HE MAY NOT...as he has good numbers vs the padres historically, and his one start at PETCO the last 3 season was a 9 inning gem..so..it may not IF arroyo pitches lights out, bit i dont think its likely...i think he pitches more to the 7 + ERA he has this season...

His good numbers at PETCO, the fact it's a pitchers park and the fact the Padres are the lowest scoring team in the league made me lay off. Gun to my head: Padres, but I'm not touching it.

Pig, I know with your truffle snout you can sniff out some F5 overs for us! I only come to check this form to see what the regulars are playing. All the other random plays I just skip over them… LOL.. Unless there is a detailed write up. Then I may consider it. So long story short… Pig hit us with your best shot!
yes, they are clutter, and just turning the sty into a giant billboard, not what this thread was founded on. we used to actually discuss pros and cons of pitchers, quatertebacks, coaching strategy that might be involved in games, making each other THINK.....now i just have to scroll through page after page of bulletin board listings with plays i wanted to comment on and post already on the bulletin board......

Howdy Pig! Good to see your snout back where you belong!
Put a little on Tex/LAA over FG, waiting on the regulars to weigh in.
Ranger bats were stymied by Oak.... What better tonic than a lefty, which Tex is hitting .295 against this year, and an LA bullpen, with a 4.37 ERA. The Tx starter, Lewis, will not go deep into this game, likely limited to around 90 pitches. This will expose the pen, which is just ahead of the Angels in ERA, at 4.36.
Plus, these teams just don't like each other, and these games are normally slugfests...

well.... no baseball for me to post...its all been put on the bulletin board already......i still dont know why the posters like the teams they posted, but i did see a list of plays...i have no feel for the NBA tonight...i wish i could bet NO overtime in the houston game on a prop bet.. that series has been unreal... i think this ole pig is off to a bar and video poker machine at island view to watch NBA.....baby, pablo, knight...all the regular crew....i cant think of em all right now ( coach, if you're lurking) ...but you know who you are..i am not angry.. love my sty mates as much as ever...i just had to get some stuff off my chest.. with the popularity of this thread and constant newcomers who know nothing of its unique history, it will be a constant battle to retain the essence of the sty..but, that is exactly what i intend to do.

Jesus Pig, they put you on a diet or something?
I like to see the others' analysis and try to give my reasons when I can. But for example, Ult1ma almost never does and I still want to see his picks either way. Certain/some of the others picks too.
And I do get your point about all the clutter, but don't see what can be changed. And after all, YOU were the one who was (and has been) the most welcoming to newcomers in the thread, and you have certainly been a proponent of the friendly non-sports banter that goes on here.
So now that everyone feels so welcome and is having "fun", what did you expect to happen?

Well, you should post yours anyway. I post mine whether people have already listed them or not.
There are plenty of people here who want to see consensus on the plays....

Kdogg.. Your post has no merit. Pig is legit.. He can post whatever he wants. He is one of the reasons I check the sty daily for plays. Baby is right some people don't need write ups.. Ultima.. Melo.. Pablo. I jump on those plays without write ups. If you are a newcomer it's pointless to post a list of plays without reason. No one is going to read them. So baby what you playing tonight. I am looking at the dodgers at + 120 f5 ML -1/2. Both teams come off good series and I think the Dodgers are more likel to be able to maintain the progress. What are your thoughts on this??

Looks like the pig has some shitZ stuck up his asssss.... go post elsewhere u won't be missed.
C'mon man, that's totally uncalled for. He didn't go after you, so why go after him? He's one of the founding fathers of the Sty, so show some respect. It's what separates us from the animals. Us in this case not meaning you.

Over 5 -130 NYR/Pitt SMALL/MED. More of a feel than anything for this, but Rags have been scoring well, and Penguins popping them in like crazy; Pengs have highest scoring games in playoffs so far. Their goalie and D has been weak, and Lundqvist probably will have his hands full on the other side of the ice.
Chic -1/2 -120 MEDIUM.
Chic TT Over 2.5 -160 SMALL.
Hawks are the 2nd best scorers in the league and Crawford has been great in goal the last few games. Wild lucked out in knocking off the Avs; last game they were behind 4 times and kept tying it up. They have giving up way too many goals to survive vs Hawks.
Will try to post baseball before the games start, but so far definitely like the A's TT Over and WS TT Over.

Tuck appreciate you stats & other tidbits on plays you're interested in. Baby I was little over on Rangers. These teams seem to score a lot vs each other. Also had my eye Chi TT o2.5. Glad see you're on same side.

Brief writeups on baseball for cause of time. And I know others already like some a lot...
Oak TT Over 4.5 -110 MEDIUM. A's have been hitting, its a hitters park, and Buck and bullpen giving up a lot.
CWS TT Over 3.5 -120 MEDIUM. Sox one of the best hitting right now, and even in Salazar's one good start opposition still made it to 4 runs.
Mil TT Over 3.5 -115 MEDIUM. Chasing Brewers good hitting with Knight, and opposing teams been getting to 4+ in Leakes games. Even weak-hitting Pirates twice recently.
Probably more later. GL

Sorry Pharm, but no matter how well he's been pitching lately I can't put money on chickin lickin Beckett. Call it a strong personal dislike to put it nicely; I always root for him to get shelled from the point the Red Sox dumped him. And Marlins are incredible at home...
