Dont get it...so any quarter you'll count it as a win (19-0) ??? If lose 1q and 2q then 3q wins?
@dboyy
As I wrote in the picks, please read page 1 of this thread to understand the system. The answer is yes, 1q loss = 2q bet. 2q loss = 3q bet. Etc. It's not rare for a team to cover at least one quarter, but when a total loss can cost 20 units, it's extremely important to avoid them. Despite how common it is to be able to cover at least a quarter, almost 15% of total matchups have teams that don't cover any quarter (sweeps). My system avoids this loss scenario at a 99.2% success rate. 242 - 2 record during 3 seasons.

@dboyy
Precisely. It's like playing roulette, losing black on your first spin, and the continuing to double down on black until you hit.
In this system's case, record means nothing as long as you win one out of four quarters in a game which like you mentioned, is very likely to happen.
Following this system you just double down and pray that you don't miss 20 in a row and bust your roll. And a 19-0 record doesn't hold much merit because as long as he wins 1 out of 4 qtrs in a game then it classifies as a win (although you could have went 1-3 for the game, clearly not winning in the conventional sense).

Guys... nobody is forcing you to follow this system. @ColoradoSlim, you clearly don't understand this system because there are only 4 quarters in a match, not 20. It's a 4-legged martingale. @dboyy, have you ever looked at live quarter odds? It's a moving target. As the point differentials change between the 2 teams, the odds also change. It's not about a team winning or losing a quarter, it's about covering the spread. It's much harder to do than you guys think. It's not like a roulette martingale where you continue to double down over and over and over again for as long as you can until you bust your bankroll. This martingale has a clear stop... and it has reached that stop twice in 246 attempts. Twice!
Again... please don't tail me if you don't trust me. However, I have absolutely nothing to hide. I keep telling you guys to read page 1. If you don't take heed of my warnings, that's not my problem.

Quarter Method Pick
Washington Wizards 1Q -1
Atlanta Hawks 1Q +2
4Q Gas System Pick
Atlanta Hawks 4Q +1
Please read page 1 if you don't understand how this system works. TL:DR It's a 4-legged martingale and you can potentially lose 20 units on a single loss. But our current record stands at 19-0 sooo...

Interesting system. Fun to follow along with anyways . So at 21-0 you can afford a loss and still be into profit if im understanding the numbers right. 20 or 21 wins covers 1 loss? (As in a full 4q 20 unit loss)
Gl tonight frogger

Froggy's system is waaay above random expectations. 4 losses in a row should happen 1/16 times(.5^4th) and yet he has ___2__ losses in 244 plays.
If this was just a coin flip betting system then he should have 244/16 losses or roughly 15ish losses.
