I don't get why he would do that. If they were up by two I could see it but going to a four point lead seals the game anyways.

i had -4 for the game plus over, bought the hook from -4.5 and it didn't save me

we'll they won without giving the ball back to dallas... yeah he could've made it and he up by 4. it would still give dallas a chance to tie with a 3 pointer and a foul.

should blame dallas for this.  they got the ball and instead of try to tie and save some times incase they miss, they hold the ball until the last secs and try to make the basket, and it's too late-no more time on clock when they miss the shot. 
 
fucking stupid or maybe smart so dallas can cover.

Sick thing is I bet two games so far and the third is the lakers
 
1st Game:   Louisville -7.5....If anyone follows college they will know how bad of a beat that was.
 
2nd Game:  Spurs -3.5 2nd half......Fuck Finley
 
3rd Game:  Lakers.....Hope my luck turns around tonight.....

they did not even have to move, just let dallas do wtf they wanne do and do not move and the 0.4 will go out

that derek fisher play has nothing to do with this.......if finley shoots and makes it, they are up 4 with .04 left.  time for one shot, as long as no idiot on the spurs contests, the game is over.
 
if finley shoots and misses, someone rebounds the ball under the dallas basket, just like they did with his intentional miss.
 
the only way the mavs have a chance is if he does not hit rim and they get to inbound the ball down 3.......that is where a derek fisher type play can happen.
 
once again, finley made a bonehead play.

Fisher's .4 shot had everything to do with it. That shot is still fresh on the minds of the Spurs coaches and players and they didn't want to risk Mavs getting a 3 and a foul. That was a smart play by Finley to make sure they couldn't even attempt it. A miss ends the game for good while making it lengthens the game.

yes, if he makes it the spurs players do not even have to anything, beacuse the 0.4 is not enough
