HARD8's HOT NBA 1Q & 3Q TRENDS 11/16-11/22

So, I'm starting each week with a new thread.  Easier for people to follow.

Also, I will be keeping track of the wins/losses.  I was going to see how well the system did last week- but 15 pages will take time.  So if any one wants to volunteer... you're elected

MONDAY 1Q PICKS

ATL -1>>>Atlanta has covered 3of4 home games.  The last 2 they won both quarters.  Atlanta is on a roll, beating Denver @ home & Boston @ Boston.  Portland lost both quarters yesterday to Charlotte. 

ORL-4>>>Orlando has done a great job at home only losing both quarters to a dominant Cleveland team.  Charlotte on the other hand is at home, but is 2of4 covering the numbers as an away team; covering only 2of6 quarters (33%).  As more games are in the books, I will have more percentages available.

DAL/ MILpk>>>This game, in my opinion, can go either way.  Milwaukee is at home- being 100% at home covering 1Q or 3Q or both.  Dallas as an away fave is also .  As an away fave, they had one push and the rest wins.  They just beat Detroit yesterday in both quarters.  This would be a no play or a 3Q play.

Let's get 'um today.

I had an eye on what luongo posted in the last thread. Teams losing the 1st and 2nd quarter were often winning the 3rd. had no time to evuluate this, just went through a few gamedays. we should consider this as a variable.

I looked at that angle during last years game and it wasn't a factor.  It might be a trend that is happening now because the season is still young.

Let's keep an eye out and see if it continues to hit.

what do you think about the trade Charlotte made?  The players will not be able to play today- so Charlotte will be short handed. 

Also, the teams that traded might be a fade since it'll take time for the new players to adjust to a new system.

Hard to guess. usually in basketball it takes a little time to get into the plays. but then, jackson is in his sixth team as a pro, he's kinda used to it... radmanovic is no big loss, i'd say, but bell was a key player so i guess, they will need a few games... YMMV

So far this week:

B BET=3 rd QUARTER WIN

A BET/B BET- LOSS-PUSH

The one win was the Milwaukee 3Q. 

TUESDAY 1Q PICKS

Cleveland -4 1/2>>>Cleveland is still 100% against the numbers at home.  Golden State on the other hand is 3 of 5 games covering as an away dog.

LAC+1/2>>>So far, LAC is perfect as an away team.  NO is still a fade play covering only 2 of 4 games as a home team.

Houston -1>>>Houston is also perfect at home against the numbers.  As a home fave, they have won 4 out of 4 quarters.  Phoenix has covered 2 of 4 games as an away dog.  They only won 2 quarters out of 6 as an away dog.

LAL -3 1/2>>>The Lakers have covered 5 out of 6 home games.  The only game they lost both quarters was against Dallas.  Since that loss, they have won 7 out of 8 quarters.  Detroit is perfect against the numbers as an away team.  They've won 5 out of 8 quarters as an away dog.  If Lakers win 1Q, Detroit is a play in the 3Q.

Denver/Toronto>>>This is a 3Q play.  Both teams are 100% against the numbers.  Whoever loses the 1Q, they should be the play in the 3Q

3Q Plays:

LAC is a play.  I don't know what the line is.  Just got home.  But it looks like they're not doing too good at this point.  Anybody have a line?

PHO/HOU>>> is a no play.  PHO has lost 3 games both 1Q/3Q out of 7 games.

Also, Houston has won both quarters the last 2 games.

Denver -3 1/2 is a 3Q play.  I don't like the line cuz it's too high.  The first 2 quarters were 1 point apart.  But Denver has covered in the 3Q each time as home faves.

HOU>>> was a winner in 1Q & 3Q

Chicago +1 1/2 is a system play.  Chicago is ahead double digits and the trend calls for the team ahead to continue to increase the lead
