Sorry I couldn't get back as I am currently tied up at the moment but I will answer. (as well to others who had questions comments aboutthe Knicks etc.)
The play comes down 2 notches because of Love and Martin. I am very surprised they are playing. Why risk further injury when your draft spot is locked up? To get over/to .500? Weird but it looks like the Wolves will come to play.
The good news is the Kings still took the Blazers to the limit 2 games ago losinig by one point without Rudy.
His replacement tonight is the best one possible the Kings could have: Ex-Wolf Derrick Willaims. The guy does basically nothing, except when he plays the Wolves:
Went for a monstrous 26/11 (incredible for him) the last time when the Kings fell two short.
The downside is the bench is a bit thinner now.
We lose some line value here as the spread goes through zero.
I am taking them at 2/2.5 although but for a bit less now.
Still, I am going to back them but again, and it comes down two notches. I just don't understand why they'd put Love and Martin in.
The only benefit is the other group was playing pretty well and perhaps Brewer will be disrupted (as the Kings of all teams could allow a repeat performance).
So let's see what happens at 2/2.5. If the Kings can jump out to a nice lead and hold through the middle of the fourth (their demise) we can still pull this out.

Some of the comments on page 2 in regards to "what to do" now that love is playing are downright embarrasing lol
since some of you degenerates are having trouble with reading comphrehension and deductive reasoning, let me spell it out for you:
- scalabrine clearly said this is a weak play and not to touch it if you are down and/or chasing - scalibrine made his pick on the basis of "wolves not caring" and resting love and martin.... well love and martin are both playing
conclusion: dont touch this game either way, and if you bet it either way, its at your own risk
at the end of the day, its your money, and YOU are accountable for losing it or protecting it. if you cant afford to lose, dont be tailing some one on an internet gambling forum

I just can't see how that Suns game is a more winnable game than this one so here it is for them, to go out of this season and avoid a losing streak (which is something to play for for a team this bad).
Unfortunately their fight is less than the Knicks fight but it'll be a fight nonetheless in front of their home crowd. They still have to make up for the game they laid down like flea-bitten dogs against the Warriors. The stench of that game still lingers.
It'll be tough but we'll give it a shot here with the short-handed Kings and the now 'not so short-handed' Wolves.

The Kings will fight here even without happy.

Thanks Bob.
I am back and I will go for a a little on the Kings here at the current 2/2.5 but unfortunately, the play comes down two notches based on how I originally capped it. You pointed everything out correctly as to how it becomes devalued.

Good start for kings. surprise return of isiah thomas having a huge impact so far. lets see if kings can keep up the early energy. i have no action on this game, but i am rooting for twolves becuase i have them over 40.5 wins for the season for a future bet

There are just too many missing pieces for me to effectively cap the Lakers. At +12 I'd love to back them with more bodies.
The good news is it looks like Jordan Hill will play. If not, Sacre would be starting.
They will play fast and loose tonight in their final home game of the season (which is a plus on a Sunday night where there will be crowd turnout and they are really trying to avoid adding to the worst season in history).
Still, how much do the Grizz have to play for? Their playoff lives.
So with more bodies I'd be on the Lakers even with the Grizz playing for everything at +12 (a huge number at home). Just too thin imo. The Lakers should make this one interesting though. I don't see them laying down in their final home game.

For those who pointed it out, Thomas is gigantic. I would take him every day of the week through Sunday over Rudy.
Of course, playing these games this late in the season makes you subject to tons of DNP's and activations (Like this one - 4 major ones in this game within the hour before tip).
And just like that, Kings cough up an 11 point lead.
Still, Kings getting out fast here is the exact recipe we need here for a win.
A lead of any kind, even a point (yes, a one point lead with the Kings matters), into the fourth is crucial.
