The average career of an ATP tennis player is 7 years, more than double that of an NFL kicker and 2 years longer than a center.
NFL players have a VERY small window to make $$$ before they have to join the real world and rely on that education that the majority probably DIDN'T get in college.

Why isn't it legit? What makes it less legit than any other sport?
Did the new report even name anyone?
It's amazing you can say if you wager on tennis you are a fool when you don't know how it even works.
If Wawrinka shows up to the Basel Open where he lost first round something like 5/6 times and someone proceeds to wager on him as a -800 favorite and Wawrinka loses should that bettor be screaming fix or should they be yelled at for betting a huge favorite at a tournament where he plays terrible?
Fognini is another example. Dude lost something like 10 straight hard court matches and really only shows up for the clay court season. If the dude loses 10 straight matches on a certain surface and idiots keep wagering money on him is Fognini fixing matches?
I mean I can keep listing examples for you
Is there match fixing at a lower level of tennis at the challenger circuit and future circuit? Well of course there is because I've witnessed it personally but to go and think that match fixing is rampant on high level of tournaments such as Masters and Grand Slams like what the BBC article posted is plain STUPID. They gave ZERO names, at ZERO tournaments
Let me know when any high level player gets named in an article and then we can talk
What are you arguing, are you yourself debunking the article and saying it's false? Are you saying bribes absolutely do not occur at the highest levels of tennis?
Bro, Djokovic just admitted that he was approached for 200K. I'm sure that wasn't a one and done attempt. If they approached him, others HAVE been approached and some probably accepted. You don't decide to try and "fix" a match and choose the best player out there to be the pilot bribe then shut it down when he declines. They approached him cause they have had success with others, bank it.

You think youre being smart by asking this question, but it shows a lack of basic reasoning skills, which tilts you more to the ignorant side.
Any bet is a 50-50 proposition. A guy like me who thinks sports are fixed has just as much chance of winning as someone like you, who doesnt believe theyre fixed.
I hope I was clear enough that people stop asking this really retarded question.
What's with the personal attack azzhole? I never addressed you personally. Get a life
