A very smart man here.
Funny thing is, I was agreeing with the guy and he starts talking shit to me?
Speaking of taking it out on the bookies, I kicked the bookie in his nuts tonight...

Struggle with the Hawks, struggle with the Cavs, struggle with the Pistons...
They can't win on the road. For Christ's sake, they couldn't even beat the Hawks on the road in 3 freaking tries! How will they be able to beat the Pistons on the road if they were a combined 0-6 on the road with the Hawks??? and the Cavs???
RIP Celtics

2 games into a 7 game series and its already RIP
if the lakers dont make a 20 point comeback last night, its RIP for LA as well with that line of thinking.
Detroit can definitely win this series but the Celts WILL win a road game and that means home court will be regained. Who cares about streaks. A major streak was busted tonight as well with the Celts at home 9-0...now 9-1...who can't crack a six game road losing streak? regardless of who its against...this is called "regression from the mean" in statistics...eventually the 31-10 road record will resurface because that sampling is more relevant and a better indicator than 6 road playoffs games (yes 41 reg season road games are more dependable)...watch your bankroll

The RIP was simply based on the fact that they could not beat far inferior teams (Hawks and Cavs) than the Pistons on the road, sporting an 0-6 mark in the playoffs.
As for the Lakers comeback, you might be right, BUT, the Lakers have won three playoff games on the road to the Celtics zero...and easily vs. better competition.
Now you've made a very BOLD statement, I hope if you're wrong you come back in and admit that you were just that. Sure, "what goes up must come down" theories are nice to have, BUT, that doesn't always ring true. You could be right, BUT, from what I've seen I'd say you're wrong. We'll see what happens, either way it should be interesting to see how it plays out.
