The regular season road record means nothing at this point.  Not winning any road games against the likes of Atlanta and Cleveland has got to be in their heads somewhat and puts a lot of pressure on Boston now that the just win at home cushion is gone.  It will be interesting to see how they handle it.

because the one thing the celtshad going for them was their d, especially at home.   tonite, they let detroit score triple digs on them.  if i said before the game that celts would score 97 pts and ray alen would break out of his shooting slump, i bet people would have flocked to a celts +9 spread.  they lost three games on the road to atlanta, thee games on the road to the lebron (and his nbdl team)...what evidence does anyone have to believe they will steal one in detroit?

Detroit IS the better team -Chase-...you've been saying it, I've been saying it. I still think the Lakers can beat them, BUT, I'll admit I'm worried about a possible matchup with the Pistons in the Finals IF both teams continue with the success they've shown and make it.

I don't think the Lakers match-up well with the Pistons AND the Pistons would have the home-court advantage. I would much rather the Lakers face the Celtics in the Finals (IF the Lakers can make it).
