I wasn't around yesterday and I realize a win is a win, HOWEVER you just happened to be on the right side of a wrong play in that Heat OVER Monday night..........that was just about as bad of a loss I have taken in a LONG TIME!!!!!!!

IT'S ON NOW BROTHER, LOL...........

I really like Philly in this spot against the Clippers.  The Clippers are terrible on the road this year...and Philly is very good at home.  What is making me hesitate a little bit is the line.  The Sixers have covered 8 in a row...and the Clippers havent won a game on the road...why is this line only 5 points?  The Sixers were favored by 7.5 against the Cavs and 3.5 against the Bobcats...do they think the Clippers are in the middle of those two teams?

The Knicks have been playing well...but these next couple games should put them right back in their place.  The Celtics just flat out own them

I put them up throughout the day once I feel confident enough in the pick that it cannot lose.  You can tell the final picks because they are Bold, Italic, and Underlined....along with the prediction and how much I am risking on the play.

I lean Boston as well, I'll always take a team like them off of 3 days rest against a mediocre squad who has an inflated record because of a ridiculously easy early season schedule.

Los Angeles Lakers -1.5 1st Quarter

The Lakers are 10-2-1 in the 1st quarter this year on the road.  Without a doubt one of the best in the league.  Overall they have a +51 point differential.  The Pacers aren't terrible...but a respectable 6-5.  Up until the last couple games against the Bobcats and Raptors (teams that are not even close to the same category as the Lakers) they were only averaging 23 points in the 1st quarter.

Prediction:  LA Lakers 28 Indiana Pacers 22
Risk:  1.1 units to win 1 unit

Staying away from the Bulls/Raptors game because this is only the 4th road game against the Eastern Conference for the Bulls. 

They lost twice against the Celtics...and hung on to beat the Cavs, but didn't cover.

Celtics 1st qtr road favorite: 5-3

Knicks 1st qtr at home: 3-6
Knicks 1st qtr home favorite: 0-2

Philadelphia 76ers 1st Half ML

Initially I was loving the Sixers for the full game, but the Clip show actually does fairly well covering their road games (6-4 overall).  What I do like in this game is the fact that the Sixers at home have a +50 point differential...and the Clippers have a -50 point differential on the road.  Sixers are 7-5 SU in the 1st half...Clippers are 2-7-1.  I feel real damn solid about this one.

Prediction:  Sixers 54  Clippers 48
Risk:  3.4 units to win 2 units

Very tough to call this one just because of the inconsistency of the Clippers defense.  LAC is averaging 205.5 PPG on the road...Sixers 190.5.  So I'd say the line is set right about where it should be.

I've pretty much stopped playing the Celtics in the 1st quarter of games.  The best thing to do is to wait and see what the 1st quarter shows us...if the C's do well...POUND the Knicks in the 2nd quarter.  If the C's struggle...POUND the C's in the 2nd quarter...

ATS ON THE ROAD FOR EXAMPLE....

vs. Sixers...Lost 1st Q 29-32, Won 2nd Q 27-23
vs. Nets...Lost 1st Q 27-25, Won 2nd Q 30-12
vs. Cavs...Lost 1st Q 21-23, Won 2nd Q 35-22
vs. Hawks...Won 1st Q 39-13, Lost 2nd Q 25-29
