The Heat are just too good of a team overall, and when you have the killer that is LBJ constantly striving to get better and figure out how to make his weaknesses his strengths, it's almost impossible. Pat Riley has done a masterful job as well at building this bench and supporting cast to make sure they have whatever they need to win.
Clippers have had the talent for the past couple of years, and now they have the discipline with head coach Doc Rivers. Chris Paul is now in his 9th NBA Season and time is running out for him. Every time I look at this roster I see a championship caliber team. They have a great backcourt with Paul, Crawford, Collison, and Redick. Down low they have Griffin, Jordan, Jamison. They have a surprisingly good defense. They can shoot the outside shot effectively. All they needed IMO was the tough leader that can reel them in and make sure they have the focus needed.
I picked the Heat in 7 games with the home team winning each game. It will go down as one of the most exciting NBA Finals ever if it happens.

Very nice in the predictions. The problem is the seeding for NBA Finals.
I think only once in the past 15-20 years the two best teams in each conference met in the Finals (Lakers vs Boston in 2008). I may be wrong, but it just doesnt happen.
If you nail those spots, Oklahoma has a better chance of reaching the Finals for a revenge matchup with Heat.

Since 2000, only twice the two best teams in conference met in Finals (2000 and 2008).
And something to think when playoff is set and future bets.
Since 2001, the number #2 seed has reached Finals NINE TIMES in either conference. (2001, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2011, 2012, 2013)
That might be a good future play for whoever team is n#2 in the playoff bracket to win the conference.
Something to think about.

I'm doing a thing with 3 of my friends, we all throw in $50 and pick every teams over or under. End of the season, winner gets all the money.
I will be using A LOT of your NBA projections for my picks.
I would love to know the teams you feel strongest about (over under wise) Any help would be appreciated because its clear to me you know much more about nba than i do

Nope...the Spurs had their great run last year. Didn't get it done, and didn't pick up any younger players this year to spell Ginobili, Duncan, and Parker who are getting older. It's a younger league and they aren't heading in that direction.

Parker is in his Prime. Duncan is in Great shape and still skillfully one of the best bigs he does not rely on athleticism.... only decline is Ginobili cause of injuries. but the influx of talented and star potential players such as Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green along with serviceable big men in Tiago Splitter and Boris Diaw, they still space the floor great with Green..Marco Bellinili..Diaw and Matt Bonner. along with the best Coach in the league, and you rank them 7th. unbelievable
