Juiced out last night...should have gone with my original leans when I started the thread and I would have done a lot better.  Either way, it's going to be a damn tough Thursday Night and we have to buckle down and find the diamonds in the rough.

New York vs. Detroit -

WTF do we do with a 3pm Thursday game?  This is highly unusual in a lot of ways obviously.  Early support is huge in favor of the Knicks, and the line hasn't moved.  Detroit has also been chilling out at home for quite a while which makes me lean a little bit towards them, but this might have to be a no-play.

CM - My initial lean is LA Clippers -4.5. Shved and AK did not practice Thursday due to illness. Flu maybe? They are questionable tonight. Value in buying the 4.5 now before it skyrockets to like -6 or -7 if they declare both of them out before game time?

LA Clippers vs. Minnesota -

I should have certainly taken this game last night when it was +17...with the doubtful status of CP3 the line has dropped significantly to 4.5 or 5.  Either way, the Clippers have continued to roll right along without CP3 on the court...winning by big points.  I said before they have the deepest team in the NBA and the Wolves might be the least deep team in the NBA.  Home teams generally struggle on Thursday Nights as well.  I like the Clip show to continue to roll right now...might change my mind however.

Sorry, I mean did not practice Wednesday. Also, want to add in that T-Wolves team is on a decline. Only thing going for them is home court, 2 days rest, and LA on their 3rd and final road game.

Milwaukee vs. Phoenix -

Phoenix coming into this game fairly well rested and the Bucks are in the middle of their west coast road trip.  The excitement has certainly worn off since their first couple games with the new coach and new offensive strategies...losing two of their last three games by 16 points.  Refs are favorable to the home team, as well as the fact that the Bucks haven't won in Phoenix since the days of Bird, Magic, and Dr. J

Hahaha come on now. It's not stupid. Nets and Raptors played two games in London two seasons ago.

Miami  vs. La Lakers -

Last night I said in the Heat/Warriors write-up that they will probably win against the Warriors despite big public support, thus gaining further support against the Lakers.  Well it has pretty much followed suit so far with the Lakers starting off as short favorites, and 60% of the public pounding the Heat.  Gasol returns for the Lakers tonight, Howard seemed to be damn healthy the other night...Heat on the B2B...LBJ got his milestone last night.  Initial lean is big towards the Lakers.

Having it in Spain or South America or somewhere that has actually produced NBA stars would make more sense to me.  This isn't the NFL where teams have a bye week before or after the London game.  Talk about throwing off your flow.

Basketball is pretty big in the U.K actually, not as big as the NFL but it still has a solid following, so it doesn't really matter what makes sense to YOU now does it, i'm sure the NBA know where they have good demographics, more so than you or anyone else on this site. You really think they'd go to Spain over London? , the tickets sold out in a few hours wiseguy.

I am aware of Luol Deng thanks.  I'm just not a fan of playing regular season games 1000 miles away from either team's home court.  If you want to do exhibition games or preseason games that's fine...but by doing it in the middle of the season it can't be good for the teams involved...especially when one of them is at the top of the standings.

Really tough games on the board or tough situations...there will be one with the line movements that don't make sense...and that's what I shall capitalize on.  Will be back later on with the final play(s)

A professional basketball team doesn't need to be treated like a bunch of kids, hell throw them out in the snow and they should still be able to perform, any condition, any arena. Did you see any problems when the Pats came to London? Nope, pro team and they tore up the Rams. Knicks are being plugged as the Home team anyway, and you'll see how much support they have so i'd see it as a New York home game. Personally i'll be there supporting the Pistons. USA won their basketball gold medal in last Summers Olympics right here in London, and from the press this morning they love playing here. Get a clue CMJ.

With Heat on b2b and with LA "focusing" more on defense & the bigs playing.....U206.5 is a steal

How big are we going on Lakeshow? I'm in 100% agreement and thank you for really bringing to the forefron line movement. It'sbeen spot on in NCAAB and NBA.

The line dropping to LAL + 2 really makes this thing obvious plus the B2B factor. Every casual bettor in America is on the Heat and thats where the book makes its $$$$$$

I am leanin hard for lakeshow and probly take Detroit +5. Look for the knicks to lead the whole game and then watchout for the backdoor cover here just like the Raptors lastnight. This year in squek squek i been playin favs for first halves only and takin dogs on game lines. It has been working quite nicely...shhhhhhh dont tell anyone. Thanks for the writeups. You are very wise man.
