So answer this question everyone? Is Lebron's team good enough to help him win now? It sure doesn't look like he's doing it all by himself.
are you fu.king kidding rite now???...do you know wat an out-lier is??...youre seriously gonna take 40 minutes of basketball and use it as a yardstick for the abilities of both teams involved??

youre insane, pippen is easily a hall of famer in his own rite..check that mans body of work and also check wat he did to carry that weak as.s bulls team the season that jordan sat out.
I give Pippen credit as a defensive player, with or without Jordan. Although the greatness of Pippen is directly related to his connection to Jordan.

Of course not. I'm sure you understand the point. When Cavs win it's because of the greatness of James, when they lose its because of his lack of quality teammates. Greats find ways to win and make the teammates around them better. The Cavs have been hanging around pretty well. There should be no excuses about their abilities to win this series. Every heard of "the will to win" or "the heart of a champion"?. Believe it. People have been able to rise to the occasion and achieve higher levels for years, based on their confidence and will to succeed. No excuses.

according to who exactly???who are these people that youre talking about that give him all the credit and then give him a pass if his team isnt good enuff??
cos if youre talking about a covers consensus, which i assume you are cos this is where you are posting, then the over-whelming majority here will blame lebron for every single one of his teams losses no matter how they occur, who theyre against and who is on his team............and then on the flip side if his teams win then they say he got lucky, ray allens miracle shot gifted him a ring,he had to run off to be with superstars, the refs are on his side...on and on and on and on..........so basically the exact OPPOSITE of wat you are saying.
so who is it that youre talking about thats critique-ing lebron in this manner??

No hate involved, just evaluating consistencies in opinions involving Lebron's wins, losses, and presumed greatness. Why did Lebron and the overmatched Cavs, without Kyrie and Love, win tonight? Was his supporting cast good enough tonight or was it the unflappable greatness of Lebron that lifted the team to another level?

39 points, 16 boards, 11 assists. Played 50 minutes and got fouled hard almost every time he drove. Haha what more can the man do? He coaches the other players and just about everything they do runs through him.

Here is the deal.
Noone man can win by themselves.
But ...lbj impacts games and. Wins with less more than any. Other superstar in. NBA history.
There is no all star...no all defense player.....on this team.
But he leads them
If stumpert ....hit just a slightly higher percentage the series would've interesting.
Like gets his.....leadership is hard to measure .....it's not in the box score
His fans see it.....his haters dissect his misses....or anything else that goes wrong......even though no player is perfect.

theres sumthing wrong with you,bud...its called a FU.KING OUTLIER!!!!...anyone can shine on a given nite...see wat dellavadova's numbers are at the end of the series, chances are hes not gonna hold curry down every time out,rite??...nor are other guys gonna chip in the way they did,nor are the warriors gonna be so off their game most likely.
you judge them on a long history or full body of work,NOT one good performance for crying out loud...come on,man.you actually think this is a real strong supporting cast full of top level talent???
theyre tough and gritty for sure, but by any analysts evaluation they are heavily over-matched by warriors full roster...are you actually gonna sit there and dispute that fact??
and of course the answer is yes lebron does elevate the play of others, are you saying he doesnt??wat drugs are you on,dude??...to not notice the way the guy leads and inspires is eggregious on a whole nother level.....its not ALL his credit for the win.....but a large part of course.

In history? That's a tough one. Even if so. Does he win chmpionships while doing so? That's whats going to matter when it's all said and done. All excuse to the side. No running to Miami. Will he win an NBA championship with the Cleveland Cavaliers? Stay tuned.

cavs played great defense, but you have to give it to LeBron with the leadership and great assist ,rebounds, and all those dramatic fouls. delly on curry was great to see., curry to tie it up, LeBron missing layup. dramatic overtime. curry choking at the end. lol
cant wait for game 3 in Cleveland.

I understand what an Outlier is and I realize that a body of work is what stats are based on. I'm not talking about any of that. No matter what the case may be, Lebron will not receive full credit as a great NBA champion, until he wins a title for his own team. Not DWade's already champion Miami Heat. Lebron James Cleveland Cavaliers. You're making this a personal attack against me, which is quite odd. Its not about me. Its about the public. Everyone knows Lebron is a great player but there is a difference between that and a great champion. He will undoubtedly have to win a title on his own team of leadership, before he gets credit as a great champion. No matter what the reason he may not accomplish it. That doesn't matter. He can elevate players all he wants but he must win an NBA championship for the Cavs! If you don't understand that, and the negative feedback he will receive by the NBA community and fans as a whole, then you are the one on drugs my friend.

lebron def has a good enough team as is right now to win. GS has no answer for thompson on the board. they are getting killed. and cleveland is playing good D its whats keeping them in the series.
and LOL @ people saying lebron gets foul and no call. he gets away with offensive fouls AND travels. why dont u cry about that? oh wait, u must be a lebron fan.
cleveland could of easily been up 2-0 if lebron doesnt disappears late in the game. star of the night is that aussie midget. who played great D on curry and hustles. and of course that offensive rebound and clutch free throws.

Let me see, you are losing money these NBA playoffs? You will always have another reason. Saying the team is good enough to win is kind of a dumb argument.
If you took Lebron off the team and Curry, the Cavs would lose easily.
I'm doing pretty well actually. You're not being clear on what you mean by I will always have another reason. There is no if's. The Cavs have Lebron and the Warriors have Curry and both teams have a chance to win. Why make excuses before the series is even over? Your comment proved the OP point . If Cavs win it's because of Lebron but if they lose it's because "Lebron can't do it by himself". You can't have it both ways. And for the record I am a fan of Lebron and but that doesn't mean I have to smooch is shorts for everything. I am a fan of basketball before any one individual player. I bet not for my personal feelings about a team but who I feel will win. I will bet the Cavs or the Warriors as I see fit. There have been many teams that have gotten swept in the playoffs, and the finals. The Cavs are still around 1-1 so nobody should make any excuses about anything if they lose the series! If they lose they lose! If they win there will be ranting and raving and threads non stop for King James greatness. If they lose it will be excuse after excuse about injuries and Lebron's lack of support. We all know the circumstances, but these NBA players are human beings, not machines that are programed to win like this is a game of predetermined destiny. I feel like the Warriors will win the series, but its clear that Lebron and the Cavs have more of a chance than others that have been swept in the finals. Any team that has decent players and the presumed "best player in the world" has a chance to win. Let's cut the crap.

okay,im gunna make it real simple for you cos you seem like a simple guy.
hypothetically speaking,if lebron dominated the entire series, hitting 3 game-winners and averaging 35,10 and 10 while shooting great percentages across the board.......but just about all of his team-mates under-performed and stunk up the joint and they lost the series in game 7,then how is that his fault that he's not a "great champion"???...its purely a matter of circumstance that hes not on a team thats quite good enuff or deep enuff.
see,you seem to take the attitude that about 98% of the morons round here take which is "oh,a player wins titles by himself if hes great enuff"...BOLLOCKS,absolute bollocks!!!..its a team sport, always has been, always will be and unless you are impossibly stupid you will take into account other factors and circumstances surrounding any TEAM victory/loss aside from one players output and influence.
and its awfully strange how threads like this one pop up all of a sudden after cavs surprised folks in the opening set of games...the goal-posts are being moved, the narrative being changed to set up an attack on lebron shud he not get the job done going forwards.
all of a sudden there is almost parity between the teams and cavs support cast is more than capable and you probably will suggest that warriors arent quite as good as advertised also....where-as if you wind the clock back just a week or so the whole world was saying how golden state were the greatest thing in sports history and the cavs were badly over-matched and weak as hell coming from the putrid east....so which is it and just how many times is the script gonna be flipped in order to give lebron a bad rap??
fact is lebron does NOT have a great team with him at all and yes tho it sounds horribly cliche' he definitely is elevating, inspiring and leading them to levels beyond wat their capabilities wud suggest.and i still believe,as per their achievements and all metrics/statistics that the warriors are one heck of a good team(tho their will and belief and composure will be tested now for sure).......do you agree or disagree??
