If you cant respect Lebrons rings then how can you respect Kobes first 3? He couldnt even make the finals until Shaq arrived. He also couldnt manage one finals MVP until Shaq left. Not to mention he was drafted by Charlotte but cried his way to LA because he couldnt handle going to a terrible franchise. Explain that one genius. You are one giant contradiction.
yep...and also dont forget the fact that after he ran shaq out of town and saw wat a disaster that was he threatened with requests to be traded MULTIPLE times both publicly and privately and more or less DEMANDED that management get more help/upgrade the roster, including asking for bynum to be traded cos he wasnt developing fast enuff(coincidentally enuff, rite before bynum helped kobe to get his first post-shaq ring...no,he wasnt critical but the twin towers pairing he and gasol formed played a role without any doubt watsoever).......people,do your fu.ken revision, jog your memory,LEARN YOUR RECENT HISTORY....sum of the things you accuse lebron of doing kobe has done basically the same.
i dont give a flying fu.k about his "killer instinct",he realised, like anyone with half a brain, that NO-ONE wins alone.....kobe could not even make the feckin playoffs with a roster comparable to that which lebron made conference finals and nba finals with...explain that, will you kobe supporters?????

Not trolling at all you idiot. I happen to enjoy reading peoples opinions on here. And I am not saying people aren't making shots for him to get assists. He also rebounds too "smart guy". Your a typical Lebron hater its obvious. You clearly are a Kobe guy and the two sides will never agree. Kobe does have killer instinct I 100% agree with you on that. He also has had the luxury of playing on much better teams with much better coaching. These are all facts. And I am also so sick of people comparing Kobe to Lebron, they play two different positions. Lebron is a more well rounded basketball player, he does it all. Blocks, steals, rebounds, PASSES the ball and can run point. Kobe will always be one of the greats but lets just give Lebron the respect he deserves. Im not sure how old you are but I grew up watching Jordan, Bird, Magic etc. I have NEVER seen a team do what they are doing in these finals and Lebron is the reason why. Period.
Look "idiot", again if you read my "recent" post on this thread you would see that Kobe isn't the topic of my conversation. Your doing things on the level of a girlfriend that brings up the past in attempts to start up an argument because she wants a little extra attention. Lebron and Kobe are two completely different players, and positions.
Again if you cared to correctly reap my post, you would see that I have clearly stated I am a fan of Lebron's game. How on Earth could that make me a hater, wise one? I will not sit around and banter back and forth about the irrelevant. In my opinion. Kobe's ego is his worst enemy but I will not dismiss his 5 rings, and his direct efforts and responsibility in helping get those rings. Jordan and his 6 rings, I will not place any player above. Bird was great and he was clutch. Magic was a prototype of the type player that Lebron is. He laid the foundation for Lebron, and their styles are fair more similar than Kobe's and Lebron's, so a comparison discussion would make more sense between those two but even then it wouldn't make sense. Magic was an original, he was the one that certain guys watched and modeled their games after. His accomplishments and his winning 5 championships in twelve years (I don't even count 96), is not to be disrespected and discredited.
You say you like to read post but clearly you like to critique and find reasons to talk s.hit after coming to your own conclusions. Your conclusions, your so called assessments on who I support or hate are wrong. I don't care if I am a direct fan of a player or not. I recognize and respect their game if they bring that to the table. I fully acknowledge Lebron's skills, and his accomplishments. On a personal level, I have met the man and his overall persona, I am not a fan of. But that doesn't make me in anyway a hater because I can clearly separate the two. Surely Kobe, is no unblemished hero himself. I acknowledge players for their accomplishments.
Go back and do your research and you will see that, my sole point was that regardless of circumstances Lebron just needs to win his championships and f.uck the excuses. That's what great NBA champions do. As of now he has shown growth far from his earlier years and he is just getting it done. His skill and will along with the will of his teammates are doing what many thought wouldn't be possible without Love and Irving. So a Lebron hater I am not. Reading comprehension isn't your enemy, its your friend. At least be on topic and attempt to understand my message in its entirety before you come charging spewing insults at me.

I read your original post. It was stating that NBA greats are expected to win championships and Lebron should just deal with the injuries. You also brought Jordan and Kobe into the conversation. They NEVER had to play in this situation EVER. So who gives a rats behind what was "expected" out of them when they never had to actually do what Lebron is doing. 2 out of the 3 leading scorers on this Cavs team are out. How in the world is anyone supposed to take you serious and further more how is that making it clear that you support Lebron? You are basically saying he has zero excuses and should win if he is an NBA great. I really hope you aren't insulted by this response, I'm not here to hurt anyones feelings.

I agree its stunning, the amount of hate tht Lebron has, but you must acknowlege he has alot of love as well. Its cliche but its also been said that there's a thin line between love and hate. That was most infamously shown when Lebron initially left Cleveland and went to Miami. Fans turned on him as if he was a modern day Benedict Arnold. Most have formed opinions about him without ever meeting him, but again that's life. Its unfair but strangely that happens more often than not and the more successful you are in life, seems to cause for demand for more hate. Its weird. I agree to be great at anything, you must have a high level of confidence almost bordering arrogance. Your will must be unflappable. Early on he had arrogance but he wasn't as strong mentally as he is becoming. As far as my meetings with him, it was different venues and social gatherings. Let's just say I have some friendships that extend beyond televisions screens, so I have met alot of people. I don't want to really speak in depth on why I am not a fan of him personally. When what you hear and what you see connect, sometimes you have to form your own opinion. One thing I learned a long time ago is that everyone that appears to be your friend isn't. There are reasons as to why things like that happen. That last sentence is just insight into the personalities of people. No direct implications made, but take that for what you will. I admire genuine/authentic "individuals". Let me assure you I think Lebron is one of the greatest basketball players ever, it stops there for me with him. I have no inner desires to see him fail personally. I do however have certain teams or players that I would rather see win at times. When Lebron does win, there is no hate from me though, I give him his credit. I am even happy for him because I like to see hard working people accomplish their goals. Haven't met Jordan but have met Kobe. All of them are humans and all of them have downfalls just like all of us in life. Some people you just get along better than others for a variety of reasons. I'm not team Lebron but I respect his skills and accomplishments, so there won't be any hate coming from me. But that's not my style anyway. I consider myself a pretty "genuine" person.

Look at the teams of all the other players named in these threads. It's a lot easier to get guys to come to Chicago Boston LA to team up with other good players than clevelnad....plus it does not matter how the team comes together. Manu parker and Duncan all took 5-6 mil less per year so they could trade for Leonard and pay a bunch of good back up players like green diaw and others. Are they ridiculous for taking less money to make their team better.....that's what miami did for the 4 year run.....it's not any different. Mj had another top 50 player of all time. Other all stars....there was no cap then he made 33 million his last season and they still paid other superstars. People fo to LA to play with kobe over cleveland with lebron b4 miami......who on God's green earth would rather play with kobe. However LA is a much more enticing market

No feelings hurt, no offense taken. I just operate on a certain level of respect. I never said I was a Lebron supporter, I said I am a fan of and acknowledge his skills and accomplishments as a player. If it comes don to gambling I could care less of whether I am a fan of any particular player or team. I pick who I think will win. No personal feelings involved. I also never basically said he has zero excuses. He has plenty of excuses, we all know his circumstances. My point is, as any self sufficient adult knows, in this world people give two sh.its about an excuse. All it comes down to is if you win or you lose. Of course diehard supporters will take in all of the excuses and circumstances. But the sad truth of the matter is people really don't care what the excuse is. All they want to know in the end is were you the winner or the loser. Come on man, you know that. Its not my personal feelings or trying to discredit Lebron, but the way our world operates, is you have to set goals and regardless of adversity and obstacles you have to find a way to overcome them and accomplish the goals you set out for yourself. That's if you ever want to be mentioned as great as your predecessors. My point wasn't that Lebron absolutely had to win a championship this season. I did say that he is expected to win an NBA championship for Cleveland, null the excuses. That's just the way it is. Its unfair in many ways but that is the way it is. Welcome to life sir.

That's where Lebron has received a lot of slack he left Cleveland for Miami, instead of sticking it out, taking less money and doing all that he could to bring the players that he needed to Cleveland. That's at least the perception of what he chose to do. On the Flip side Duncan won his championships on his original team and when they needed help to win more, instead of opting to trade out he stayed and took less money to make the team better. Just general perception.

No feelings hurt, no offense taken. I just operate on a certain level of respect. Well I am glad that we can all discuss things on here no matter how "heated" they get. Im not sure how old you are but I agree with you on your assessment on life. Life is not fair at all but thats the way it goes. I just feel that Bron gets a lot of garbage thrown his way and it sometimes is not warranted. I've been watching bball since the 80's and have seen the incredible NBA'ers. I just have never seen anything like this. I tried to think of some finals where they were this lopsided and I cannot come up with any. Best of luck to you and whatever side you are on. We are all on here for the same reason...to win cash! Be well.
