With these CA teams there is no home court advantage. Clippers and lakers share the same court and golden state and sac are just down the road. There are no long flights or hotels involved. Even the crowd wont be as dominant for one team as clippers fans can just drive up to the game...
Not a criticism, maybe you are right about this but I find sometimes people dont pay enough enough attention to the geographical location of home/away courts. Its thr same with houston/SA/dallas.. all from the same place so the home court factor is watered down when they play each other.
Los Angeles and Golden State are still about 5-6 hours apart. Not that easy for fans to just drive there

I agree. Gamblorman has no clue what he is talking about. There are plenty of Laker fans in the bay area that attend Warrior games. The amount of Clipper fans in the bay area are slim to none. Warriors have the best home court in the NBA, and don't expect them to shy away from this game. The bowl will be rockin hard tonight, guaranteed.
I would give GSW the highest weight in line adjustment for home court in the NBA.

5 hours is not far to drive. I suppose ill retract my "down the road" comment but it is just a straight drive. My comment is in comparison to most other teams in the country has more significant distance. Road games within the same region have less impact on preparation time and fatigue from travel.
Oh well we'll see what happens.

Everyone here is aware that this would not normally be a bad commute to GS but over the Clips last 9 games they have been to NY, Ind, Det, Chi, Char, Tor, Mil, back home, and now to GS. So they might be a little tired. Meanwhile GS has been resting at home the last 10 days and were off last night. So this is were the fatigue from travel comes into play.

League Capper, Sir: I agree with your write-up. All your points are accurate. I saw the Clips last night and they put out a lot of energy. Additionally, Griffin and Jordan played relatively big minutes. But that Christmas day game sticks out in my mind. And the Phoenix win @ Indiana and the OKC win @ San Antonio off back to backs and five games in seven nights screams to me that if a good team is motivated they can overcome the fatigue obstacle and win. The league ruled that the refs got suckered in to throwing Blake out on Christmas day. I don't think these hungry Clippers have forgotten. I think they've had this game circled. Plus, Klay Thompson is not shooting well of late. Anyway, your points are obviously more valid and well thought out. But I thought I'd throw my thoughts in. Best of luck!!!!

Last night was the time to fade LA I think. First game back home as big favorites against a sneaky Wizards team, with GS on deck. I could see them as a live dog tonight.
