Luka, Luka, Luka: The Warriors have heard enough

I work these days so no time for long writeups. I try to focus on the angles that matter most.

1. All the talk is about Luka these days. He is the greatest thing since sliced bread (or at least since the splash brothers). How do you think this sits with Curry, Thompson and gang? Not well, I can assure you. Those jump-shooting legs are rested after 4-5 days off and I expect the splash brothers to splash.
2. Are Dallas players drinking the kool-aid about how good they are?! How could they not be. These guys are in their first WCF championship after beating the mighty Suns, and no matter how hard Kidd tries to keep his team grounded, I doubt he will succeed. It’s human nature after a big win like that to have a bit of a letdown and return to earth long enough to get your teeth kicked in.
   3. The Warriors know they are 4 wins away from reaching the finals and they also know just how important the first home game is for their title hopes. They were in quicksand for 11 quarters against the grit and grind Grizz and now they get a reprieve by playing the small-ball Mavs. I think the interior will open up for the Warriors which will then help their 3 point shooting.
   4. Finally, the Warriors just saw what Dallas did to Phoenix. They know anything short of a max effort against this team risks them getting embarrassed, like they got embarrassed against the Grizz. Because of that I think they will be the aggressors from the get go and will not wait for the Mavs to throw the first punch. And Mike Brown is back to being an assistant.

That’s why there are three splash brothers. Only one needs to go off for the Warriors to stay in the game. Two going off is certain victory and if all three go off, look out! 

I like Mavs.  But your begginerboy logic is flawless.  So I'll sit out the first game and observe.  Hard to bet against a home team in first game of the series.  But Luka may have arrived.

BB, I know you are big fan of gsw, but now I seriously doubt they can advance to the finals, If they play against suns, I say definitely yes, but Dallas matchup really well against gsw and seem like they don’t have any solution against luka
