Dammit, I just cannot help myself. I promised myself I would not touch this game but you all know your boy Mak is a fellow degen and NBA person and I got a nice blunt and some new whiskey chilling so if I'ma watch this game and relax I gotta have a few units on the game right :)??
SAN ANTONIO SPURS - 2.5 (-110) - - - Going against my gut here. Did some capping and I just think again there is too much emphasis on the 08-09 season. The back to back woes of this team will be behind them this year as they boast one of the best benches in the NBA. Their depth is much much better then last year. Last night Pops rotation was outstanding at 10 guys played in the 20 minute range...10 guys!! For those who do not know much about the NBA that is a fuckin crazy stat. Pop is a great coach and has implemented a plan to stop production from Chicago's talented rookies. Without them producing Chicago's bench then becomes scarce. The back court of Chicago is all dealing with injuries Rose, Kirk and Pargo all are questionable and doubtful. I do think and cap all 3 of these players to play but most def not at 100%. The one big asset Chi Town has is its size in Brad, Noah & Tyrus. But with Bonner, Timmy, Blair, Mcdyess and Ratliff that asset is dead. RJ seems to be playing the best d of his life now that he has a coach that demands it. Tony, Tommy and Manu look poised and healthy. This Spurs team is the real deal and prove it tonight.

Bulls lookin real good right now. Only in the 3rd but I like what I see from this young team. They look very poised. Here's hoping San An can fight back. Gonna add one last wager tonight. BOL gents.
DENVER@PORTLAND OVER 200 - - - Last year the Denver Nuggets were horrible defensively on back to back games. I remember them giving up a much larger amount to teams on 0 days rest then 1, 2 or 3. They just seem to have flat feet. This is especially true when coming off a back to back from Denver. Could be the altitude I don't really know. What I do know is last night was very emotional for the Nugs. It may have taken a lot out of them. Despite giving up a lot of points on 0 days rest last year they did not seem to suffer on the offensive end scoring relatively the same on 0 days rest as any other. All stats and trends point to an over in this game.
